  Easter Wednesday, Divine Mercy Novena Day 6 April 20, 2022 Wednesday of Easter Week Divine Mercy Novena – Day 6 Dear Family of Mary! Today in our novena we are praying for humbles souls, and the souls of little children. These souls are so very precious to God!! Humility requires great trust in God, and a selflessness that leaves one open to sacrifice. Humble souls do not live for themselves. They live for the love of God and others. Our Lady teaches us a little about humility in this message: October 2, 2010 “Dear children; Today I call you to a humble, my children, humble devotion. Your hearts need to be just. May your crosses be your means in the battle against the sins of the present time. May your weapon be patience and boundless love, a love that knows to wait and which will make you capable of recognizing God’s signs, that your life, by humble love, may show the truth to all those who seek it in the darkness of lies… My children, my apostles, help me to open the paths to my Son. Once again, I call you to pray for your shepherds. Alongside them, I will triumph. Thank you.” There is great wisdom in Our Lady’s words. St. Faustina also grew to understand humility through her long discipleship to the Lord. St. Faustina wrote these words about the value of humility and how to grow in it: 1306. + O humility, lovely flower, I see how few souls possess you. Is it because you are so beautiful and at the same time so difficult to attain? O yes, it is both the one and the other. Even God takes great pleasure in her. The floodgates of heaven are open to a humble soul, and a sea of graces flows down upon her. O how beautiful is a humble soul! From her heart, as from a censer, rises a varied and most pleasing fragrance which breaks through the skies and reaches God Himself, filling His Most Sacred Heart with joy. God refuses nothing to such a soul; she is all-powerful and influences the destiny of the whole world. God raises such a soul up to His very throne, and the more she humbles herself, the more God stoops down to her, pursuing her with His graces and accompanying her at every moment with His omnipotence. Such a soul is most deeply united with God. O humility, strike deep roots in my whole being. O Virgin most pure, but also most humble, help me to attain deep humility. Now I understand why there are so few saints; it is because so few souls are deeply humble. Let us pray for humble souls and the souls of little children, asking for grace for them, and asking that we can become humble as well: Divine Mercy Novena Day Six Today bring to Me THE MEEK AND HUMBLE SOULS AND THE SOULS OF LITTLE CHILDREN and immerse them in My mercy. These souls most closely resemble My Heart. They strengthened Me during My bitter agony. I saw them as earthly Angels, who will keep vigil at My altars. I pour out upon them whole torrents of grace. Only the humble soul is capable of receiving My grace. I favor humble souls with My confidence. Most Merciful Jesus, You yourself have said, “Learn from Me for I am meek and humble of heart.” Receive into the abode of Your Most Compassionate Heart all meek and humble souls and the souls of little children. These souls send all heaven into ecstasy and they are the heavenly Father’s favorites. They are a sweet-smelling bouquet before the throne of God; God Himself takes delight in their fragrance. These souls have a permanent abode in Your Most Compassionate Heart, O Jesus, and they unceasingly sing out a hymn of love and mercy. Eternal Father, turn Your merciful gaze upon meek souls, upon humble souls, and upon little children who are enfolded in the abode which is the Most Compassionate Heart of Jesus. These souls bear the closest resemblance to Your Son. Their fragrance rises from the earth and reaches Your very throne. Father of mercy and of all goodness, I beg You by the love You bear these souls and by the delight You take in them: Bless the whole world, that all souls together may sing out the praises of Your mercy for endless ages. O Fount of Life, unfathomable Divine Mercy, envelop the whole world and empty Yourself out upon us.   Easter Tuesday, Divine Mercy Novena Day 5 April 19, 2022 Tuesday of Easter Week Divine Mercy Novena Day 5 Dear Family of Mary! Today we pray for the reunification of all Christians. How did the followers of Jesus Christ end up so splintered? Is there not one Lord? But we also know that the enemy of us all is the great “Divider”.   The enemy of our souls has worked tirelessly to break us apart since the beginning of time. And so, this is a very important prayer intention. Unity. Unity in the Faith, the Love and the Truth of Jesus, Our Lord.   If only… Our Lady has given us many messages about unity – here are two: “Dear Children! Today I invite you to fall in love with the Most Holy Sacrament of the Altar. Adore Him, little children, in your Parishes and in this way you will be united with the entire world. Jesus will become your friend and you will not talk of Him like someone whom you barely know. Unity with Him will be a joy for you and you will become witnesses to the love of Jesus that He has for every creature. Little children, when you adore Jesus you are also close to me. Thank you for having responded to my call.” (September 25, 1995) “Dear children! In this time of grace again I call you to prayer. Pray, little children, for unity of Christians, that all may be one heart. Unity will really be among you inasmuch as you will pray and forgive. Do not forget: love will conquer only if you pray, and your heart will open. Thank you for having responded to my call.” (January 25, 2005) Let us pray for unity of all Christians and all mankind with Our Lady: Divine Mercy Novena, Day Five: Today bring to Me THE SOULS OF THOSE WHO HAVE SEPARATED THEMSELVES FROM MY CHURCH, and immerse them in the ocean of My mercy. During My bitter Passion they tore at My Body and Heart, that is, My Church. As they return to unity with the Church, My wounds heal and, in this way, they alleviate My Passion. Most Merciful Jesus, Goodness Itself, You do not refuse light to those who seek it of You. Receive into the abode of Your Most Compassionate Heart the souls of those who have separated themselves from Your Church. Draw them by Your light into the unity of the Church, and do not let them escape from the abode of Your Most Compassionate Heart; but bring it about that they, too, come to glorify the generosity of Your mercy. Eternal Father, turn Your merciful gaze upon the souls of those who have separated themselves from Your Son’s Church, who have squandered Your blessings and misused Your graces by obstinately persisting in their errors. Do not look upon their errors, but upon the love of Your own Son and upon His bitter Passion, which He underwent for their sake, since they, too, are enclosed in His Most Compassionate Heart. Bring it about that they also may glorify Your great mercy for endless ages. Amen.   Easter Monday, Divine Mercy Novena Day 4 April 18, 2022 Monday of Easter Week Divine Mercy Novena Day 4 Dear Family of Mary! Today in the Divine Mercy Novena Day 4, we pray for an intention that is very dear to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary. We pray for those who do not believe in God and do not know Him yet. These are the souls that cause the most suffering for Jesus and Mary! They long for these souls to recognize their love and embrace it. Let us pray with all our hearts that all souls will hear Our Lady’s call. Our Lady told us: “Dear children! I call you that this time be for you an even greater incentive to prayer. In this time, little children, pray that Jesus be born in all hearts, especially in those who do not know Him. Be love, joy and peace in this peaceless world. I am with you and intercede before God for each of you. Thank you for having responded to my call.” (November 25, 2003) Our Lady has a burning love for those souls who do not know her Son, or do not yet love Him. She longs for them to be united to her Son. St. Faustina also was given by Jesus a great desire that souls would recognize and love Him. She wrote: Christ, give me souls. Let anything You like happen to me but give me souls in return. I want the salvation of souls. I want souls to know Your mercy. I have nothing left for myself, because I have given everything away to souls, with the result that on the day of judgment I will stand before you empty-handed, since I have given everything away to souls. Thus, You will have nothing on which to judge me, and we shall meet on that day: Love and mercy … (Diary, 1426) And so today, we pray for all those souls who do not yet know or love Jesus…May they be given the grace of conversion and faith!! Divine Mercy Novena Day Four Today bring to Me THOSE WHO DO NOT BELIEVE IN GOD AND THOSE WHO DO NOT YET KNOW ME. I was thinking also of them during My bitter Passion, and their future zeal comforted My Heart. Immerse them in the ocean of My mercy. Most compassionate Jesus, You are the Light of the whole world. Receive into the abode of Your Most Compassionate Heart the souls of those who do not believe in God and of those who as yet do not know You. Let the rays of Your grace enlighten them that they, too, together with us, may extol Your wonderful mercy; and do not let them escape from the abode which is Your Most Compassionate Heart. Eternal Father, turn Your merciful gaze upon the souls of those who do not believe in You, and of those who as yet do not know You, but who are enclosed in the Most Compassionate Heart of Jesus. Draw them to the light of the Gospel. These souls do not know what great happiness it is to love You. Grant that they, too, may extol the generosity of Your mercy for endless ages. Amen.   Easter Sunday of the Resurrection of the Lord April 17, 2022 Easter Sunday Divine Mercy Novena, Day 3 Dear Family of Mary! Let’s pray together this beautiful sequence, rejoicing in the Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ!! Sequence (Victimae paschali laudes) Christians, to the Paschal Victim Offer your thankful praises! A Lamb the sheep redeems;  Christ, who only is sinless, Reconciles sinners to the Father. Death and life have contended  in that combat stupendous: The Prince of life, who died, reigns immortal. Speak, Mary, declaring What you saw, wayfaring. “The tomb of Christ, who is living, The glory of Jesus’ resurrection; Bright angels attesting, The shroud and napkin resting. Yes, Christ my hope is arisen; To Galilee he goes before you.” Christ indeed from death is risen, our new life obtaining. Have mercy, victor King, ever reigning! Amen. Alleluia This is Easter Sunday! Though we have been walking through a dark time, the Resurrection is a force that cannot be stopped! No pestilence can keep us from the joy of our Redeemer!! Our Lady has told us so. She called us to live in trust. Her Son has conquered: “Dear children! Also today I call you to have more trust in me and my Son. He has conquered by His death and resurrection and, through me, calls you to be a part of His joy. You do not see God, little children, but if you pray you will feel His nearness. I am with you and intercede before God for each of you. Thank you for having responded to my call.” (April 25, 2006) We do not see God, but today we want to feel His nearness. We want to live in the deep awareness of the Redemption of Christ. We want to be part of His Joy!! Come, Lord Jesus, and enter the room of our Heart, even if the door is locked. Jesus will come. He can walk through walls!! Come, Lord Jesus, come in and be with us. Today we pray for all Devout and Faithful Souls. May these souls stay firm and intercede for this poor world, so much in need of mercy! Divine Mercy Novena – Day Three Today bring to Me ALL DEVOUT AND FAITHFUL SOULS and immerse then in the ocean of My mercy. The souls brought Me consolation on the Way of the Cross. They were that drop of consolation in the midst of an ocean of bitterness. Most Merciful Jesus, from the treasury of Your mercy, You impart Your graces in great abundance to each and all. Receive us into the abode of Your Most Compassionate Heart and never let us escape from It. We beg this grace of You by that most wondrous love for the heavenly Father with which Your Heart burns so fiercely. Eternal Father, turn Your merciful gaze upon faithful souls, as upon the inheritance of Your Son. For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, grant them Your blessing and surround them with Your constant protection. Thus may they never fail in love or lose the treasure of the holy faith, but rather, with all the hosts of Angels and Saints, may they glorify Your boundless mercy for endless ages. Amen.   Holy Saturday April 16, 2022 Holy Saturday Divine Mercy Novena Day 2 Dear Family of Mary! Today we await the Resurrection of Jesus with quieted hearts full of love and hope. Our Lady spoke to us about Holy Saturday in this message: Holy Saturday, April 21, 1984, To Jelena: “Raise your hands, yearn for Jesus because in his Resurrection, He wants to fill you with graces. Be enthusiastic about the Resurrection. All of us in Heaven are happy, but we seek the joy of your hearts. My Son’s gift and mine, at this moment is this: you will be comforted in your trials… They will be easier for you because we will be close to you. If you listen to us, we will show you how to overcome them.” “Pray very much tomorrow. May Jesus truly rise in your families, that peace be established there, where there are wars. I wish that someone is born again in your hearts. My children, I thank you. Continue to bring about the Resurrection of Jesus in all men. The Holy Year has ended, but it represents only a step in our life. Continue to pray.” Our Lady’s words are so hopeful and helpful!! May we be enthusiastic about the Resurrection!! Pray in peace and anticipation!! On Day 2 of the Divine Mercy Novena, Jesus asks us to pray for the souls of Priests and Religious. St. Faustina depended upon her spiritual directors and confessors for clarity in discernment and protection from the devil. She learned to hear the voice of Jesus through them. She understood how necessary the priests and religious are for the Church and the world. She wrote: “…O Jesus, give us fervent and holy priests! Oh, how great is the dignity of the priest, but at the same time, how great is his responsibility! Much has been given you, O priest, but much will also be demanded of you …” (941) Our Lady has told us: “Dear children! I am calling you to be generous in renunciation, fasting and prayer for all those who are in temptation, and are your brothers and sisters. In a special way I am imploring you to pray for priests and for all the consecrated, that they may love Jesus still more fervently; that the Holy Spirit may fill their hearts with joy; that they may witness Heaven and Heavenly mysteries. Many souls are in sin, because there are not those who sacrifice themselves and pray for their conversion. I am with you and am praying that your hearts may be filled with joy. Thank you for having responded to my call.” (September 25, 2017) Let us pray for The Souls of Priests and Religious today: Divine Mercy Novena – Day Two Today bring to Me THE SOULS OF PRIESTS AND RELIGIOUS and immerse them in My unfathomable mercy. It was they who gave Me strength to endure My bitter Passion. Through them as through channels My mercy flows out upon mankind. Most Merciful Jesus, from whom comes all that is good, increase Your grace in men and women consecrated to Your service, that they may perform worthy works of mercy; and that all who see them may glorify the Father of Mercy who is in heaven. Eternal Father turn Your merciful gaze upon the company of chosen ones in Your vineyard—upon the souls of priests and religious; and endow them with the strength of Your blessing. For the love of the Heart of Your Son in which they are enfolded, impart to them Your power and light, that they may be able to guide others in the way of salvation and with one voice sing praise to Your boundless mercy for ages without end. Good Friday April 15, 2022 Good Friday Divine Mercy Novena, Day 1 Dear Family of Mary! “Dear children! Also today I call all of you for your hearts to blaze with more ardent love for the Crucified, and do not forget that, out of love for you, He gave His life so that you may be saved. Little children, meditate and pray that your heart may be open to God’s love. Thank you for having responded to my call.” (September 25, 2007) On this most solemn day, Good Friday, we worship our Crucified Savior. In silence and fasting, we remain with Him as He dies on the Cross and is buried in the Tomb of Joseph of Arimathea. We then wait with Our Lady and the women. It is a time of silence and patient faith. We also remember that on this day at the moment of Christ’s death, His Heart was pierced by the soldier’s lance and Blood and Water flowed from our Savior’s side. Jesus revealed to St. Faustina that this Blood and Water is the infinite outpouring of the Mercy of God for sinful man. And so, through her we have been given the Divine Mercy Novena, in which we call forth the Blood and Water upon all Mankind, asking for the salvation of souls. May we pray this Novena with all our hearts, because our world is in desperate need of the Mercy of God. Our prayers are necessary! Divine Mercy Novena, Day 1: Today bring to Me ALL MANKIND, ESPECIALLY ALL SINNERS, and immerse them in the ocean of My mercy. In this way you will console Me in the bitter grief into which the loss of souls plunges Me. Most Merciful Jesus, whose very nature it is to have compassion on us and to forgive us, do not look upon our sins but upon our trust which we place in Your infinite goodness. Receive us all into the abode of Your Most Compassionate Heart, and never let us escape from It. We beg this of You by Your love which unites You to the Father and the Holy Spirit. Eternal Father, turn Your merciful gaze upon all mankind and especially upon poor sinners, all enfolded in the Most Compassionate Heart of Jesus. For the sake of His sorrowful Passion show us Your mercy, that we may praise the omnipotence of Your mercy for ever and ever. Amen.   He is always alive with you in the Eucharist, because the Eucharist is His Heart.   April 14, 2022 Holy ThursdayDear Family of Mary! Here is the second reading for the Evening Mass of the Lord’s Supper: Brothers and sisters: I received from the Lord what I also handed on to you, that the Lord Jesus, on the night he was handed over, took bread, and, after he had given thanks, broke it and said, “This is my body that is for you. Do this in remembrance of me.” In the same way also the cup, after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me.” For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the death of the Lord until he comes. (Corinthians 11:23-26) The Evening Mass of the Lord’s Supper is the most intimate moment in the Church year. At this Mass we participate in the “Last Supper” when Jesus gave us His Body and Blood as our real food and drink, to last until He comes again to take us all home. Jesus provided Heavenly Food for us, His very own Body and Blood, so that we would have the strength to follow Him and endure to the end. Jesus loves us so much. Such providence, on the night before His Passion and Death. It is a gift beyond all understanding. Jesus loves us so much… Our Lady speaks of Jesus’ love in the Eucharist in this message: August 2, 2019 “Dear children, great is the love of my Son. If you were to come to know the greatness of His love, you would never cease to adore and thank Him. He is always alive with you in the Eucharist, because the Eucharist is His Heart. The Eucharist is the heart of faith. He has never left you. Even when you tried to go away from Him, He has not left you. That is why my motherly heart is happy when I watch how you – filled with love – return to Him, when I see that you are coming to Him by the way of reconciliation, love, and hope. My motherly heart knows that when you set out on the way of faith, you are shoots – buds. But along with prayer and fasting you will be fruits, my flowers, apostles of my love; you will be carriers of light and will illuminate all those around you with love and wisdom. My children, as a mother I am imploring you: pray, think, and contemplate. Everything beautiful, painful and joyful that happens to you – all of this makes you grow spiritually, so that my Son may grow in you. My children, surrender yourselves to Him, believe Him, trust in His love, let Him lead you. Let the Eucharist be the place where you will feed your souls, and afterwards, will spread love and truth – will bear witness to my Son.   While we were still sinners, Christ died for us… April 13, 2022 Dear Family of Mary! At Mass today we hear how Jesus arranged for the last supper with His disciples, and reveals who will betray him. Judas leaves that meal, still in denial of what he is about to do. His words to Jesus are stunningly sad: “Surely it is not I, Rabbi?” But haven’t we all been in denial of sin at some time in our lives? Jesus knows how blind and stubborn we all are, and so He embraces His Passion for us even before we know of our own depravity: “Christ, while we were still helpless, yet died at the appointed time for the ungodly. Indeed, only with difficulty does one die for a just person, though perhaps for a good person one might even find courage to die. But God proves his love for us in that while we were still sinners Christ died for us. Indeed, if, while we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of his Son, how much more, once reconciled, will we be saved by his life.” (Romans 5:6-8) We are so loved… Our Lady tells us so: “Dear children! I call you to, with complete trust and joy, bless the name of the Lord and, day by day, to give Him thanks from the heart for His great love. My Son, through that love which He showed by the Cross, gave you the possibility to be forgiven for everything; so that you do not have to be ashamed or to hide, and out of fear not to open the door of your heart to my Son. To the contrary, my children, reconcile with the Heavenly Father so that you may be able to come to love yourselves as my Son loves you. When you come to love yourselves, you will also love others; in them you will see my Son and recognize the greatness of His love. Live in faith! Through me, my Son is preparing you for the works which He desires to do through you – works through which He desires to be glorified. Give Him thanks. Especially thank Him for the shepherds – for your intercessors in the reconciliation with the Heavenly Father. I am thanking you, my children. Thank you.” (March 18, 2013) Amen!!!   And it was night… April 12, 2022 Dear Family of Mary! In the readings for Mass today, we hear how Judas, steeped in his avarice and pride, accepted the morsel from Jesus, and went off to betray Him. Jesus, though so sad at the loss of Judas, realized that this was the moment when He would be glorified. Glorified in His Crucifixion and Death on the Cross in order to save us. Only the powerful love of Jesus could have accepted to die in this way for us, lowly and sinful as we are. From the Gospel of John at Mass today: So Judas took the morsel and left at once. And it was night. When he had left, Jesus said, “Now is the Son of Man glorified, and God is glorified in him. If God is glorified in him, God will also glorify him in himself, and he will glorify him at once. My children, I will be with you only a little while longer.” (John 13:31-33) In this message Our Lady prays for those who betray her Son: September 2, 2014 “Dear children, I, your mother, am coming anew among you out of love which has no end, from endless love of the endless Heavenly Father. And as I am looking into your hearts I see that many of you accept me as a mother and, with sincere and pure hearts, you desire to be my apostles. But, I am also the mother of those of you who do not accept me and who, in the hardness of your hearts, do not desire to come to know the love of my Son. And you do not know how much my heart suffers and how much I pray to my Son for you. I pray to Him to heal your souls because He can do so. I pray to Him to illuminate you with the miracle of the Holy Spirit so that you may stop, always anew, betraying, cursing and wounding Him. With all my heart I pray for you to understand that only my Son is the salvation and the light of the world. And you, my children, my dear apostles, always carry my Son in your hearts and thoughts. In this way you are carrying love. All those who do not know Him will recognize Him in your love. I am always beside you. In a special way I am beside your shepherds because my Son has called them to lead you on the way to eternity. Thank you, my apostles, for your sacrifice and love.” In Jesus, Mary, and Joseph! A Light for the Nations… April 11, 2022 Dear Family of Mary! From the 1st Reading at Mass today: “I, the lord, have called you for the victory of justice, I have grasped you by the hand; I formed you, and set you as a covenant of the people, a light for the nations, to open the eyes of the blind, to bring out prisoners from confinement, and from the dungeon, those who live in darkness.” (Isaiah 42:6-7) Our Lady speaks about Jesus, the Light for our lives: December 25, 2020 (Jakov) “Dear children, also today Jesus is here beside you, even when you think that you are alone and that light does not exist in your life. He is here and has never left you or distanced Himself from you. The light of His birth illuminates this world and your life. His Heart is always open towards you, to receive your every pain, every trial, fear and need. His arms are extended towards you, that as a father, He may embrace you and tell you how important you are for Him, how much He loves you and cares for His children. Children, is your heart open towards Jesus? Have you completely surrendered your life into His hands? Have you accepted Jesus as your father, to whom you can always turn and in Him find consolation and everything you need to live true faith? That is why, my children, surrender your hearts to Jesus and permit Him to begin to rule your lives, because only in this way, will you accept the present and be able to face the world in which you live today. With Jesus, every fear, suffering and pain disappear, because your heart accepts His will and everything that comes into your life. Jesus will give you the faith to accept everything and nothing will distance you from Him — because He firmly holds you by the hand and does not permit for you to distance and lose yourselves in difficult moments — because He has become the Lord of your life.
