May 25, 2022 – Marija speaks to Fr. Livio about Our Lady’s Message Father Livio:  Dear friends, we now have, live, Marjia from Medjugorje who is about to give us the May 25, 2022 message of the Queen of peace! Hi Marija! Marjia: Hello Father Livio! A greeting to all the listeners of Radio Maria and today like every 25th of the month, Our Lady gave us the following message: Marjia reads the message in Italian and Croatian as usual: “Dear children! I am looking at you and thanking God for each of you, because He permits me to still be with you, to encourage you to holiness. Little children, peace is disturbed and Satan wants peacelessness. That is why, may your prayer be even stronger so that every unclean spirit of division and war may be stilled. Be builders of peace and carriers of joy of the Risen One in you and around you, for the good to win in every man. Thank you for having responded to my call.” F.L. So Marija Our Lady was still worried today as in the past? M. Our Lady was at times more peaceful, in other moments almost happy and my heart opened wide up when She said: “I am looking at you and thanking God for each of you”. Then when She said: “because He permits me to still be with you, to encourage you to holiness”, at that point She was talking to us with a joyful smile, thanking us, making us feel important. She was fresh and sparkled in Her beautiful gaze, giving us such a message of hope and joy. Then, in the second part of the message She alternated joy with seriousness, especially when She said: “every unclean spirit of division and war may be stilled.” Touching a few different points: She encouraged us, She thanked us, She thanked the good Lord for each of us, She said She was happy to be with us and loves us; so I must say a very demanding message but at the same time very hopeful! F.L. Marjia this is already the second time that She has said: “I am looking at you”. What is She looking at or who, where…. M. Marjia chuckles. She is looking at me, us, in the little chapel! We were a group, the usual people that translate the message with some extra people who always slips in although not particularly suited for doing such a job! But Our Lady calls souls to Heaven even that way. Thank God in Medjugorjie this month of May is bringing in a good number of Italian pilgrims we were really hoping to see and we are having a few buses and the first organized groups. F.L. So Marjia on several occasions Our Lady has told us that She has permission from God to be here. She herself was sent and thanks Him to be here and stay for a long time. But do you think that Her presence will be a little, a short length of time? Do you know anything about it? M. I hope a thousand more years! Because we never get tired of Her, we are proud to be her children, to listen to Her messages, to put them into practice, to embrace the path of holiness! And I say that a person who stays with Our Lady becomes a positive person, a joyful person, a person who loves life on earth but yearns for Heaven. We are the ones who love life. I often see people who come to Medjugorje, lost, but they slowly find their balance too! And above all, they find the beautiful feeling of being children of God, children of Our Lady, who is our Mother. I always say that if there are people that are not able to find joy in their hearts despite Our Lady’s presence, if they are depressed in their tribulations and difficulties, how can they be considered Her Children, since She always brings hope? Just tonight when we were singing the last Rosary decade, we felt the joy of Her presence with a great deal of gratitude in our hearts. Our Lady is not afraid to face wars, worries, or even pandemics (like the one we have just experienced and to which She never has given importance). She always told us to stay close to God, prayer, conversion, and to embrace holiness! She is flying very high! And when She says: “Peace is disturbed and Satan wants war”, She tells us to be Her extended hands in the world. We must be so with our lives, with our words, our testimonies, and especially with ourselves. This is the beautiful part of it, because we have nothing to do with evil, with Satan, but we must be carriers of peace, bearers of joy, of the Risen Christ. May the Holy Spirit forge us, may He inspire us, may we be witnesses for others, especially for those who are far away, as Our Lady says, so that “good may win in every man”. It is not only for the believers, who have embraced holiness but for every man. They need our witness, especially those who are far away who have not known God’s love. F.L. But Marjia I noticed that in these last messages, as you said it well, Our Lady is inviting us to fly high. She often exhorts us to holiness. In your words, for ordinary people like us, for pilgrims who are common people, children, young people, old people, fathers, mothers…what does this road toward holiness consist of? Is it such a difficult thing? Or is it accessible to everyone? M. A few days ago, witnessing to a group of pilgrims which came to me spontaneously, speaking from the bottom of my heart, I said that Our Lady was allowed to choose the Parish of Medjugorie and I felt it from the very beginning…this was God’s Plan. And the thing that struck me most is that Our Lady did not take six children to leave them alone, isolated as fanatics. Instead She placed us within our families. She started to give us messages for the Parish of Medjugorje in which we were members and through those messages She touched the hearts of many people. (This is one of the things for which today I thank God.)The hearts of many youths who could have been our brothers, friends, our schoolmates, friends just met in our streets, during catechism lessons etc. and thanks to them they never considered Marija as a visionary, but treated me like one of them who receives messages that we all must live. It has been a special grace for us visionaries because Our Lady allowed us to grow up together as young people belonging to the Parish, becoming a group of families later on, so that we could always be together and live Our Lady’s messages not only one hundred percent but one thousand percent embracing them in a profound way. Now that I am a woman of a certain age, I notice how our life is a continuous testimony while instead I remember for example at the beginning, one day as I climbed a cherry tree a group of pilgrims asked me directions on where to find the visionaries, not recognizing me as one of them. I replied sending them to Jacov’s and Ivan’s house, remaining quietly on that tree eating my cherries. Today I feel the responsibility and the grace, the need to testify also by making myself immediately recognizable as one of the visionaries, by standing at the front-line, aware of the fact that time is running short, it is growing short and we always must do more and more. F.L. I agree with you Marija but one thing… I personally have always written that when the apparitions first started it was clear that Our Lady had  also chosen the Parish. She has also said “you are a chosen people”. She has chosen a Parish and the She organized it to be an example to all the Parishes of the world. This is precisely an exceptional thing in the programs of Our Lady, that She chose the visionaries and the Parish. Am I wrong by saying that? M.It is true, even now for example some prayer groups, on every 25th of the month, do adoration all night in the Parish of Medjugorie, which remains open, in order to thank Our Lady for her presence and for tonight’s message which She has mercifully given us. If you go at one o’clock in the morning, at three, or at four, etc. and are able to see that people coming, praying in silence, thanking. Those are little gestures that say much to your soul. Today on apparition hill there was this group that decided to do the “thousand Hail Marys” waiting for the message. F.L. Marija, Although I remember when the war started over there, Our Lady said in Her first message of July 1991 “how long this war will last it depends on your prayer”; after several months, a year or two, She said this war lasts because you pray little, then during the fourth year She said: “Soon this war will end because you have begun to pray”. So it seems to me that this message also says something very similar because Our Lady says: “Just because Satan wants war therefore your prayer must be stronger”. I think it is a petition to intensify our prayer for peace. M. It is true we know that we must become stronger in prayer because Our Lady said that with prayer and fasting even wars can be removed and so on, so let’s do it! F.L. Certainly, Marjia do you think this war is going to last a lot longer? M. I hope it will not last long even though many people no longer see the end of it, especially when you remind them about it. Tonight there was a Ukrainian priest praying for peace and his presence was an invitation for others to pray more. On the other hand, we know what we have to do: during the war in the Balkans, as Our Lady suggested to do, we intensified our prayers. Today it is just a bad memory, and by now many things have been rebuilt, but in our thoughts, in our hearts we have kept the true meaning of war because war is a satanic thing. Just as Monsignor Tonino Bello went to Sarajevo to pray for peace, despite being ill with cancer, so today I would like to shout with the same intensity for Russia and Ukraine and all the countries where communism and dictatorship is starting again. We think of China, Korea, our modern countries where it seems that the dictatorship is manifesting itself through a thousand ideologies, a thousand proposals that are taking away our freedom of expression; this is not from God, this is from Satan. I say where there is no freedom, where there is no democracy there is no God because God is freedom, God is democracy. I remember when I went to Russia and shortly thereafter the Berlin Wall fell. I was young and thin, and Pope John Paul II asked for the act of Consecration together with one of the visionaries and the parish priest of Medjugorie. He was in Rome, and we in Moscow. During the Holy Mass we joined the Pope with a bottle that had the function of the “Sacred Chalice” risking to die as martyrs I prayed to the Lord. However, this experience was so strong for me, so beautiful that I still feel it in my heart today and I remember the cold weather. I suffered but also the many people who came close, gathered. I remember the barbed wire between two churches a Catholic and an Orthodox and the Orthodox people wanted to come for the apparitions, but Catholics also wanted to come and who can stop someone who wants to love and pray to Our Lady? Nobody. The crowd of the faithful was so large that I proposed to remove the barbed wire and as if I lived in a prophetic inspiration, we put the altar in the open space and from 8 in the morning until 8 in the evening were celebrated communions, baptisms, marriages, confirmations, in the presence of a Bishop from Rome sent by the Pope. It was a real Pentecost, people were crying for joy. I still remember one of the churches that had become a warehouse of artificial fertilizers for the fields. That night people whitened it, restoring its sacred aspect by transporting the statues of Our Lady, St. Anne, St. Joseph etc in their original niches. Those people sacrificed themselves, they put their lives and the lives of their families at risk They had preserved for 70 years, with devotion and love, those statues that were beautiful. I still remember today those images that were engraved in my heart and in my mind. I remember what the people did in order to be able to save those wooden statues and to return them to their original place. How many churches have we reopened, how many testimonies! F.L. Marjia, according to you we know that the Ukrainian people also are an important part of the Catholics who come to Medjugorje.  We know that many Ukrainians are in great difficulty.We cannot imagine enduring such suffering. In your opinion is there hope for these people? Our Lady said in the October message that God is peace and freedom and what suffocates freedom is not from God! Do you think there is hope for this people? M. Why not. There is hope for each of us, even for the hardest sinner there is an invitation to conversion. Our Lady came here to help us, to guide us. She said that she listens to our cry! She said that she is with us, who loves us who listens to our prayers etc. However we are here, Our Lady loves us, She listens to us, She does everything to help us. I deeply believe that we too become as She says: “Builders of peace and carriers of joy of the Risen One in you and around you,” because we are the ones who pray, we believe in the power of prayer. F.L. Prayer really works miracles also to stop war, this we have already seen in the past right there in Bosnia! It happened just like this and this gives us a lot of hope. M. We know that there is Satan and Satan uses many people who are arming themselves. They are sending weapons, they do not bring any food, these people are diabolical. But we know that there are many people who pray, who bring food, who help. Now in a special way we see it through many people, I remember a few days ago they called me and said”Marjia pray for us, we have decided to go with humanitarian aid to Ukraine!” Then they told me how they did it! How they did this trip! That everything went well, that the Lord protected them, helped them, they did all these things they had to do. This is to say that underneath there is a huge amount of people who do good and as they say: “A falling tree makes more noise than a growing forest!” I believe in this forest of good that is also growing in humanity that today we see with negative eyes; but there is a large wood that is growing with Our Lady which is called holiness, which is called good, which is called peace, which is called extended hands for those in need etc … F.L. Marjia, however, it seems that all together society does not capture this grace of the presence of Our Lady. I do not know how they ignore Her! Somehow they obscure Her presence or when they talk about Her they speak in a bad way of Her and this obviously hurts a lot to all those who instead listen and respond to Her call. M. I deeply believe that even this situation will come to an end because where there is no freedom, even many times our politicians do not have peace, holiness in their hearts, they do not feel the need to be “Extended Hands ” because they are now caught up in materialism, consumerism, money, power, etc. But the time will come when we also are going have to choose someone to represent us. I don’t want an abortionist to represent me, because I’m pro-life, I don’t want a consumerist because I’m not a consumerist. I am not one who loves those who are consecrated to the devil and want to consecrate our people to the Devil, I am the one who consecrates our people, our cities to God and to Our Lady, to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, to the Sacred Heart of Our Lady, our families I was amazed to hear a few years ago that the city of Miami through a nun who created a community, contacted the Mayor and told him she wanted to make an act of consecration and he (the Mayor) embraced ​​this nun’s ideas and they did this beautiful act of consecration, a modern city that we can say of “leisure”, of “worldly entertainment”. Then finally the Mayor of the city of Miami did this act of consecration which was an awesome thing. I remember when I went to Sicily in Syracuse and at the time there was Father Matteo di Gruap (I don’t remember his name anymore); and he made the prayer of Consecration and the Mayor who was the Head of the Region of Sicily read during the apparition “the Act of Consecration” and Our Lady replied: “For this Act that you have done you will not regret, neither your children, nor your children’s children. “ F.L. What city were we in, what city were we in? M. Syracuse in the Sanctuary of the Madonna. F.L. Very well, the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Tears. M: I was kneeling before the image of “Our Lady of Tears”  in the Sanctuary of Syracuse and She told us: “You will not regret this act of Consecration; neither you, nor your children, nor your children’s children.” Our Lady said She will protect three generations. I hope with all my heart that the Sicilian people will decide to make this act of consecration again. I remember that schools were closed, it was a Saturday, and this allowed a lot of young people to come and I hope with all my heart that all of Italy will start with their Mayor and every city will begin to make an Act of Consecration. Because if there is no blessing there is a curse. We see it in our own work that when we bless, it effortlessly doubles, triples! And many times we work, work, work, without earning any money, we don’t live a simple normal life anymore because we live to work! If, on the other hand, we do it with God’s blessing, then we begin a good balance and that’s what today’s man lacks. Because many times we want to work harder to earn a lot, in order to be able to spend our money as well; we accumulate a lot of clothes in our closets overstuffing them. But is this normal? It’s not normal, that’s why Our Lady came to tell us that we need to put order in our lives, put God first and then everything else. F.L. Marjia, I don’t know how to say it, although Our Lady told us that: “peace is disturbed and Satan wants peacelessness”, it seems to me that the perspective She proposes to us is this: Let’s pray, commit yourselves to the Way of Holiness and that way you will be happy, content, make the good prevail in your heart and you will win. It seems to me that this is the perspective we have and it encourages us a lot. M. Exactly for this I say: Take courage! Our Lady is with us! She looks at us! She thanks us! She thanks God for each of us! And we must be people who walk with the Lord, who walk with Our Lady, who have joy in our heart, who believe that everything is possible for God, who believe that the Lord is our Shepherd and we will lack nothing! Because if we are with Him we are strong, we are joyful! Because Our Lady always says that we must walk with the joy of the Risen Christ in our Heart, within us, within our thoughts! Not thoughts of suicide, evil thoughts, thoughts that many times I hear mothers telling me: “But my son is negative, he is reserved, he does not want to enjoy life, he does not have hope!” I reply to them: “We Christians are people of hope, of joy, people of vision, and we help each other.” I remember that during the time of Covid a very nice and solid group of Poles arrived here and asked me this question: “But if one of our brothers needs to work, we will be breaking our backs in order to help him!” And also the same thing money wise; “Until he finds a job we will help him”. Another example in these Easter time days, I was talking with a friend of mine who is here in our group prayer. Now he is a father of five children and one of them (an handsome young joyful boy) decided to become a friar, and when he made his decision he greeted his parents in the most natural possible way by telling his father that he was going to join his brothers. As his father saw him go out of the house, he told him that his brothers were in their rooms and he didn’t understand where he was going. The young man replied that he was going to the rectory to meet his brothers; this is to say that we became brothers in God not only with those of the flesh. He became a brother with the friars, then also with us, with each one of us, because he was as we used to say to Father Slavko: “Father Slavko are you ours or whose other father can you be? He was in fact our father, our brother, our friar, our confessor, he was a person who chose holiness and when a man belongs to God he becomes one who is for all of us. This is the beauty of vocations, of priesthoods, the beauty of Christians because we no longer belong to each other but since God works within us, it is He whom we become, His extended hands, we become the Holy Spirit who blows where He wants to, how He wants to and when He wants to, we become “builders of peace and carriers of joy of the Risen One” and God wants all this from us. F.L. we are approaching Pentecost and we can tell the Holy Spirit blows. M. thanks be to God He certainly blows and we must be proud and happy while many say they are ashamed, but of what? That we are children of God? And that we have something special because of Him. F.L. Thanks Marjia excellent, very good, now let’s finish with the prayer. M. with all my heart and I want to say Father Livio let’s pray tonight in a special way for all the people who are without hope, for so many young people who are in confusion, who do not have God in their hearts, let us all pray together that the Lord listens to our prayers, even for all people who are bedridden, sick, desperate; especially for those who need to meet the God of Hope. Telephone conversation between Father Livio and Màrija Pavlovic – Lunetti FL: Dear friends we have now Màrija live from Medjugorje who is going to tell us the November 25, 2021, message of the Queen of Peace.   Hi Marjia. M. Hello Fr. Livio and hello to all Radio Maria shipmates, today like every 25th of the month our Lady gave us the following message: ….Reading the message in Italian and in Croatian FL. So Marjia I reckon this message is a great responsibility for us because our Mother calls us to be peace, love, hope, expression of Heaven, therefore we do have a great deal of responsibility answering with much energy and strength to the call for the mission our Lady is giving us. M. Exactly it’s a wonderful message where our Mother is telling us God has sent her, gave her permission and through her invited us to be prayer, love and expression of Heaven here on Earth. Our Lady has become one of us, our Mother, not only Jesus’ and through these messages she says, she guides us to the Most High who has permitted Her to be with us. Tonight’s message is wonderful I see She is leading us with this strong desire of God of Heaven of prayer of peace because true peace only comes through prayer, from God. She arrived here as Queen of Peace on June 24, 1981 so when we love, pray and sing to her as our Queen of Peace our Queen here in Medjugorje in a special way falling in love with Her, we acknowledge the fact that She leads us to Her Son Jesus and this is a wonderful thing. She wants to help us, guiding us to Heaven. And through her humility She shows the love She has for men, for human beings, she proclaims herself the lowly servant in a special way among men as the expression of God. Tonight in special way, she’ll be guiding us in the Church all night long with adoration as a way to say thank you for the message and her presence, together with an invitation to the knowledge of the fact that only through prayer we are able to feel God’s love. It’s a great feeling to know that on apparition hill there are always pilgrims. For instance yesterday we celebrated the anniversary of Fr. Slavko’s death and Medjugorje was crowded with people who had an enormous love for him who was an example of a priest who lived under the shade of our Lady, lived her messages and brought them to others. Our Lady is calling us to entrust ourslebes to God’s will in order to become ourselves prayer, an expression of Heaven, and through Her presence among us she is giving us the same love of God. FL. Listen Marjia, our Mother generally speaks about “ Time of Grace” but this time she used the word “Mercy”, “Time of Mercy”. It’s a nuance but does it suggest something to you, the fact that she said “Mercy” instead of “Grace”? M. It’s awesome because I thought I was wrong when I heard it, but I have to recall myself to this “Time of Grace”, even more. To me it’s not a nuance but a reality because God with His Mercy, Love, Desire to help us, has sent us His Mother. This is an act of Mercy for so many who are lost, confused, so many people who don’t have a destination. Our Mother is calling us, our goal is God, our destination is Heaven, Eternal life; we are lost and this is why She is telling us “Return because this is the “Time of Mercy”. FL. It’s beautiful M. Our Lady is telling us to be Love, to be the Peace that God is giving us. Therefore, when we have peace, love, prayer, total trust in God, at that moment our heart sings with joy, what a wonderful, beautiful thing this is, nonetheless we yearn for Paradise and we want to build it here among us. FL. Listen Marjia nevertheless the vocabulary word “Mercy” is also meant for the present time of sufferings throughout humanity. Even though we have walked away, denied the faith of the Cross, God has given us His Mother as to say, we have turned our back to Him, but He went to look for the lost sheep; there is this Goodness over this lost and pagan world just like She said in a previous message. We really should meditate over this greatness of the love of God. M. Exactly, Our Lady wants to bring us toward this love of God, Paradise, Eternal life, fill our hearts with joy, faith; she wants us to have a total trust in God, to become men of God, men of prayer, fruit of love. We have an awesome word that means “carrier of peace” (In Croatian : Mirotvorci) – one vocabulary word, beautiful! For us to be “Mirotvorci” is wonderful! It refers to a man who is a carrier of peace and love. This is just what our Mother is telling us to be – expressions of love, Heaven, prayer, the will of God which will run over our own lives, every and each moment, because life and death are in God’s Hands. Often men want to create a world without God without thinking about Heaven. Instead our Mother is calling us to put our gaze upon Heaven. FL. Listen Marjia Our Lady is using this expression a number of times: “The restless world in which we have our mission to bring joy and peace”, but we have to say that during this pandemic state of things and with Our Lady’s words like “war is in the world because hatred reins in your hearts”, it takes a great deal of effort for us, at all stages to become carriers of peace in families. M. But thank God in Medjugorje even during this pandemic time we are still meeting and talking with family members. I can say that there is an even greater number of people returning to prayer, which makes it even more beautiful. It all happened when all activities stopped. We didn’t lose God, but modified that fast way of saying prayers and transformed it to a time of grace. Speaking to a friend of mine we both considered it as an “everlasting retreat” because of the unceasing prayers and the joy we experienced in perfect silence on the hills with very few pilgrims. This is the right place if you want to meet God, His Mother, many Saints, Angels etc. because our hearts are always searching for Him. When we pray God manifests Himself gives us joy, peace, finding even more of what we are searching and asking for. We as Christians, are living this moment of grace towards Advent, by going every day to an early morning Holy Mass we call ( she says it in Croatian) celebrated at six o’clock, with very few candles lit up (although in this time of the year they are putting more lights up). Mothers wearing their pajamas underneath their coats and a special Mass is celebrated with the intention of the arrival of Jesus. It all has a sense, like for instance, making a wreath as a centerpiece in the house has a sense. We live intensely our story, our traditions. I thank God and am so happy to be here in Medjugorje and to start this time of Advent thoroughly and in serenity, but am also hoping to be able to come back to Italy, I miss my “Little Italy” “Italietta”. I am praying for all of you with all my heart, for the huge family of Radio Maria and for the many people here in Medjugorje who are fond of Radio Maria. You are not alone, we pray for and with you and especially when we don’t know where to go, who to turn to it’s time to get closer to God and to prayer because only in God is our future as our Mother told us “he who prays is not afraid of the future”. We are men and women of prayer. Our Lady instructed us and told us so, enrolling this school of love of God through her messages. She told us they are not new and She wants to bring us back to sacred scriptures and the commandments: “I want to bring the same Love God gave you throughout centuries”. He is not a God who abandoned us but He is with us and fights our daily life battles together with us. Tonight She said that God told her….I lost the message…. FL. God is inviting you through me… to be M. Yes, through me to be prayer, love and expression of Heaven. Our Lady is really the “expression of Heaven” because of her beauty and her sweetness, her prayers, her trust in God. We can only have joy by saying: “She is our Mother, our Queen, our Guide, our Morning Star”,  She is the one who carries us, listens to us, intercedes for us. Often when I am on the apparition hill I start my own litanies by saying: “you are my Mother, you are the Mother of my life, my heart, I trust in you my advocate”…. then I tell Her: “How many names have I called you tonight?!” When I am on apparition hill how often I get closer to Her because She is the one who listens to me, reads perfectly my heart, She intercedes for me before God…. FL. Therefore Marjia I want to tell you that for Christmas you’ll have the joy of seeing Baby Jesus when She brings him…. M. Like each year, like each year we are awaiting and praying in trust and joy, we are preparing our heart during Advent; not only through Holy Communion, small renunciations, small fastings, not only through our homes decorating them, embellishing them – I already started making little hearts to put on the Christmas tree –  but also through prayers, novenas, through many things we really want to make sure, through these little gestures we can live Christmas not only in a material way but also with a spiritual motion. FL. What will you suggest to our families who are rushing for Christmas shopping this very month, what are the important things we must not to forget in order to get ready for Christmas? M. The great and important thing is to welcome Jesus in our hearts, then just like I said earlier, it’s in our tradition to attend the early Mass, which is a breath taking, deeply felt among many people, because getting up at five o’clock it’s not easy but afterwards gets you joyful. There is this group called “Gospa, majka moja” present since last year that is singing and praying early in the morning and whoever feels up to, can join it gathering in a small open sanctuary or small grotto..(we have so many around here). I am not aware of the real situation now, if churches are open or not. Many prayer groups disappeared, many people are afraid of gathering together, but I often like to joke by saying: “Covid is not in supermarkets but, yes it’s in churches” since we are now afraid of going to church. Our Mother is calling us to support one another in prayer in order not to be afraid of entering churches, we have to pray because God listens to our prayers. Throughout this pandemic time we asked our Mother to intercede for us, so let’s have the courage to do it, Holy Mother listens to our prayers… FL. We didn’t pray enough, if this pandemic lasts so long maybe it’s because we didn’t pray sufficiently. M. I believe so that our Lord has to increase our faith and trust; we have witnessed through centuries a great number of Sanctuaries and churches built everywhere as fruit of prayer obtained by graces received. So we have to pray in order to obtain. FL. Yes also because Our Lady said the miracles happen not only in our hearts but all over the world which means in our society, therefore She is able to make miracles happens today in the same way She did in the past. M. Even more so, Father Livio, because our Mother is with us, She listens to us, we are able to see it through miracles! Take these days when people who give their testimony of their healings, graces etc. This is a profound thing, we are aware of all the help we are getting so as our faith grows stronger. FL. The important thing for this coming Christmas is also learning that in order to make Jesus born in our hearts we have to get ready through confession; many people have left confession and daily and Sunday Holy Mass “present together” because of Covid. It’s time to wake up. We have now the job to rebuild the surviving Church for as much as we can. M. Exactly, we have a good opportunity and a beautiful grace in this time of Advent to prepare not only our houses but our hearts as well, through prayer, confession, at the presence of Baby Jesus, in prayer groups that they have to be like our own families. We have to testify and share the intimacy of the love of God by little daily gestures in which Our Lord operates. Our Lady says that way we become carriers of peace. (and once again Marjia pronounces the word carriers of peace in Croatian). FL. I also meant confession Marjia, it’s so important, maybe Medjugorje was born with this impetus. Our Lady sent you to confession, do you remember when you touched our Lady’s vest? M. It’s awesome, even now Father Livio I have to say that groups of pilgrims are coming. Today a group from the East, simple and even poor people but rich inside, acted like living prayers and touched my heart as they were going up the hill (some of them back and forth) during the night, in the morning, in the evening unceasingly taking advantage of this special time to obtain graces from our Mother by fasting on bread and water and confessing. I am sure thy will get them! FL. As a matter of fact though our Mother has said we have refused the faith of the Cross, what hit me most is the great faith among simple people; perhaps important persons are the one who lost the faith, whereas simple people even here in the secularized Europe still saved it and we have many conversions as well. M. Thank God, I see in my own experience that a great number of high and educated famous people come here in search of God!  We seem to think it is the opposite – that only humble and simple people have great faith. But here everyone has the chance to meet God through Mary who leads us to Her Son. By saying: “God gave me the permission to be among you”, She, as a lowly servant, is repeating to us every day, every day, God gave her the chance to be with us with a great deal of gratitude. FL. Yes Marjia what I wanted to say is that coming here to Medjugorje what we experience is the living Mother among us. She truly talks to our hearts, she really touches our hearts. It’s really a special oasis she built on Earth! Such an incredible experience even for those who are far from God but who feel attracted to it. M. It’s true, we see it through many people who were far away; suddenly they come to Medjugorje and after their conversion they are like an empty car the needs to be filled up, they have to recharge, to fill the heart with all the love we experience here in Medjugorje. The World is also cruel and often even through our jobs we lose graces. Here, we help one another. For instance I see people teaching others how to pray if they don’t know how, even by writing words down; it’s a place where people is stimulated in the growth of faith and prayers. F.L. Listen Marjia I want to ask you one last question. When Mirjana met St. John Paul II and gave her testimony, he told her: “Take care of Medjugorje because it’s the hope for the world”. Again this sentence really hit me much because it was St. John Paul II who said it. Can you make a comment on it especially because today we are all frightened, pessimists, and this quote gives us so much strength. Tell us the reason why it’s the “hope for the world”. M. Our Lady told us: “That is why I am with you, because He, the Most High, is sending me among you to encourage you to the hope; and you will be peacemakers in this peaceless world”. She gave us the reasons why the Most High is sending Her among us: to help us, to guide us to tell us that hope never dies if we are with God, exactly just like St. John Paul II told us. We have a way of saying here: “Medjugorje will never be Medjugorje without our Holy Mother”, that’s why this is a place of hope for so many people. For instance we have here a family from Latin America and together with their sons will stay throughout the whole Advent season. They got organized and because of this frightening time we are living, they decided to rent a small apartment and move here. Now each and everyday they climb Apparition hill and Krizevac. By doing so they are giving God to their children while other parents are convinced their children are more gratified with material goods. Our Mother keeps on reminding us we have forgotten the most important thing: hope in God and the joy when you meet Him, this is why hope is so important for many people who are far away from God, and when they meet Him, the become a bridge for so many others who abandon the old sinful life and start a new one. This is the same hope our Mother gave us in her message. Her presence is also hope for all of us building a new world of peace and hope, prayer, serenity, spiritual and physical healings everywhere. Earlier when the telephone line dropped it reminded me of the communism regime we had in the past and when many times we were cut off in our conversations. (F. Livio is giggling). It was incredible! Nowadays we are so dependent on science, and often we are so fragile and weak, so little, but if we have God at that point we also have the joy of being sons of God , of being part of this huge project God has for us through our Mother. FL. Yes it’s true Marjia we don’t have to think only that a time of peace is coming, yes certainly our Mother promised that to us, a time of Spring, but starting from now with our faith and conversion we can live the joy of Heaven without having to wait any longer, now it’s the time to answer her call, now if possible it’s the time to be happy. M. Yes but in reality just this evening at the moment of the apparition our Mother stayed a while longer and she was extremely beautiful, joyful. When She comes we forget everything else, we have the taste of Heaven because She brings it with Her. My friends and relatives here with me tonight were looking at me after the apparition and asked me to tell them about it. But I yearned for Heaven, wondering why didn’t our Mother take me with Her? I then felt this strong desire and joy to contemplate the expression on Her face, listen to Her voice. When She appears She brings a Light with Her, there is a scent of the fragrance of Heaven that opens up my heart. My whole existence is based on reading Her messages over and over again trying to put them in practice, living them. FL. Thank you Marjia, this last description of yours has been so important. We needed to feel this experience of Heaven through your testimony. For us it’s a very heartwarming feeling. M. Imagine Father Livio that we must joyfully wait for the next month’s message. Telephone conversation between Father Livio and Màrija Pavlovic – Lunetti Father Livio: Dear friends we have Màrija live from Medjugorje who is going to tell us the October 25, 2021, message of the Queen of Peace. Màrija: Hi Father Livio, hello to all radio shipmates! FL.: How are you doing? M.: Thank God today is a great sunny day, cool at night but sunny during the day, Medjugorje is calm but at the same time sizzling. Today we had a group of French pilgrims with the archbishop from Paris, and this meant joy for us and an official pilgrimage from the Diocese of Paris with lots of French pilgrims gathered at the altar during Holy Mass. The most important thing is that today even though they put Medjugorje in the red zone, lots of pilgrims are coming as during the “Marian month”; many Croatian families, Spanish speaking families that decided to come anyway even though they put us in “the red zone” because they said we had many Covid cases. This news was confirmed to be “fake” from a doctor I spoke to that happened to be here with a Latin American group. She told me that there are very few cases, but many with the “influenza” – the winter flu – which is normal for this time of the year where we are exposed to a sudden drop in temperature. I don’t see a reason for this, but anyway even though all this is happening our Mother is still talking to us and still loving us giving us a beautiful message which I will read to you with all my heart. Then Màrija read the Message in Italian and Croatian as she always does. (Here is the English: “Dear children! Return to prayer because he who prays is not afraid of the future. He who prays is open to life and respects the lives of others. He who prays, little children, feels the freedom of the children of God and in joy of heart serves the good of his brother-man, because God is love and freedom. Therefore, little children, when they want to put you in bonds and to use you, it is not from God. Because God is love and gives His peace to every creature; and that is why He sent me to you to help you to grow in holiness. Thank you for having responded to my call.” (October 25, 2021) ) FL.: Listen Màrija, the first thing that comes to our mind is the strong call to prayer from our Mother’s message because he who prays is not afraid of the future, prayer opens up to life, makes us feel the freedom of God’s children. I think it highlights the need to live prayer intensely. M.: Yes, the message is very beautiful and powerful and to me is very significant and concrete especially for our times, our Mother spoke of freedom in the June 25 message and also today she said “(he) who prays is not afraid of the future, (he)who prays is open to life and respects the life of others.” To me nowadays there is not love for life, love toward prayer, that’s why our Mother is telling us to return to prayer because prayer works miracles. We have experienced the numerous fruits of prayer here in Medjugorje even though we are living in a world with no values, abortion, euthanasia, with too many ideologies in men’s heart, suicides, no future! Thence our Lady exhorts us to prayer because he who prays is a positive man, a free man who feels God’s love growing in his own heart. We are open not only to our own life but the life of others from conception to natural death. To me this message is so powerful, so human, it seems that our Mother is saying to us: go back to your origins, to prayer, that way you will have hope for the future. He who doesn’t pray is evil. FL.: Even this phrase in which she says: “is open to life and respects the life of others” indicates a type of society where men are degraded, they are used, they are not respected as human beings! Abortion and euthanasia are considered part of the many forms of attack on life. Human life seems to have become a lower value compared to things, riches, and so forth. M.: Yes! We have become slaves, that’s why our Mother says: “Because God is Love and freedom…” as she said in the message. When we have met the God of freedom, the God of love… To me this message is so strange, so powerful because our Lady gave us so many hints on how we have to behave, she tells us that we are put in bonds we are…. how does she say? FL.: … “Therefore, little children, when they want to put you in bonds and to use you, it is not from God”. (The first translation done by Marjia of the word “bonds” was “okove” which is more like chains or shackles)   M.: ….”and to use you”. I don’t know nowadays we have so many “bonds” with the meaning of “chains” like for instance youngsters do not use any more their own words, but they go to the “net” and search immediately instead of using their brain. They are not spontaneous any longer. Bringing flowers, chocolates to your loved one is part of the past, young people no longer have a language, let’s say a spontaneous one, they are much more closed…. FL.: Can we say they are brainwashed? If you are a brainwashed, you are convinced you are free, but you are not. M.: I would like to say a stronger word: “dumber” because by now without their cellular they do not interact, do not communicate, they no longer have freedom, fascination, they are not able to express their feelings spontaneously, directly from their heart, brain, I don’t even have the right word, I think that our Mother is telling us we are bound to too many things, chained to ideologies, chains that do not come from God. FL.: Listen Marjia, this “freedom of the children of God” is first of all an inner achievement because we have to get rid of bad things that are inside of us, get rid of wickedness and arrogance and pride which are all part of an inner chain that prevents us from being really free and joyful. M.: It’s a message very… (I don’t know, I really have to tell you Father Livio that I am not ready to make comments because it’s too powerful.) When our Mother started to tell me “…because God is Love and freedom” when they want to put you in chains, this doesn’t come from God …God loves and gives His peace to every creature” these words are very strong, even the word “use you” refers to how enslaved we are to habits, ideologies, everything that doesn’t come from God, enslaved to materialism, consumerism. At the beginning of the apparitions, we had communism and I clearly see nowadays in my heart the situation is repeating itself, because they want to shut us down. Today I heard that Italy is preventing pilgrims from coming unless they have to travel because of serious health problems. I suggested to a friend of mine to say that she has an important spiritual health issue because her heart is far from God, and she needs to meet with Him through Our Lady. Many times, we find ourselves in these conditions because men don’t find peace, that’s why she came here as “Queen of Peace”. She is calling us. I can’t say to you come anyway to Medjugorje but be aware of the fact that all this doesn’t come from God, they are imposing upon us ideologies and chaining our minds not to thinking what they want, while our Mother is constantly saying “Return to prayer, return to God”. FL. : Listen Marjia, I personally think that since our Mother started by saying “he who prays is not afraid of the future”, that when she says “ little children, when they want to put you in chains and to use you, it is not from God…..”, I can even think of a persecution against believers, of those who profess the faith and therefore of a persecution of the Church as it happened with communism. M.: Yes, but at the same time she says “to serve for the good of his brother-man” in the meaning of the pagan word (man) while the word brother is referred to us Christians. At the same time whoever is far from God cannot live alone. We have to live with others. If I don’t respect, don’t love, don’t live as a Catholic believer who is called to serve. A physician is called to cure a sick person and I as a Catholic am called to serve my neighbor. I deeply believe this message is so powerful and at the same time so intricate. How to say? FL.: In your opinion Marjia, why does our Lady say: “this doesn’t come from God”. To whom is she addressing her words: who are those who want to put us in chains? We are aware of the fact that in today’s world there are unbelievers, in a world without God in which no one talks about God, maybe this is an invitation toward us to give testimony to God… M.: I know it, it’s useful to us. Even for me this message is a great lesson because it proves to me how much I am able to see that they are inculcating ideologies in us. When Our Lady says: “Return to prayer because he who prays is not afraid of the future” I say deep down inside me: “I must return to prayer, I must make my choice.” When we pray, we become more and more Christian, more practical, there is no more time for gossiping. FL: We become even more free…. M.: There is no more time for chatting but for prayer, prayer works miracles, and we believe it! God uses us especially when we pray because man is not just material, it’s his spiritual side that is fading away in this modern world. This is why they put themselves in the place of God. The prayer is: I need you God in each “Hail Mary” – my heart opens up to God’s will and I respect other person’s lives. I help others, my neighbour becomes my brother, I start to feel my real freedom, not the one they are making us believe with the “green pass”, but I am beginning to feel God’s freedom that makes me say: “my life is a gift” and “my life is a gift for others”, a gift God gives me so I can use for making good. I deeply believe God is Love and like our Mother says, He gives us peace that no man is able to give, no therapies, no ideologies, no yoga, meditation etc. Because when it comes from God, we feel it and we who are His creatures will be able to feel His peace. Our Lady tells us: all that doesn’t come from God, give it away, it’s not yours, it’s not good for you. FL.: Listen Marjia, the most difficult expression in this message is this: “therefore little children when they want to put you in chains” (once again Father Livio used this word) but you said that our Lady used the vocabulary word “bonds” which is not “chains”, even in Croatian. She said it (due to the numerous numbers of months if not years Father Livio, lived with the six seers at the beginning of the apparitions, therefore he learned their language); while the vocabulary word for “chains” is a different one, nevertheless since our Lady in her message in Croatian didn’t use it, a literal version would be: “therefore little children, when they want to put you in bonds and to use you, it is not from God”. So, if the parish meant to be more correct to use the word “chains” to give a stronger significance I think we shall have more respect of our Mother’s word and literally follow what She said, thus I take the responsibility to say and I think it’s right to be precise that our Mother didn’t say the word “chains” (in Croatian) but “bonds”. Will you confirm this to me Marjia that this is correct? M.: Exactly we have translated with a different vocabulary word to give a more powerful meaning so that it would be the same for the other languages. This is an invitation to the freedom of the children of God, freedom to prayer and not to be afraid of the future; at the same time our Mother is telling us: God is our peace, at our side, God is Love, God is freedom. When we have experienced all that, she says – we will reach it by becoming a saint – and if we want that, she is willing to help us by leading us in a growing path with the freedom of God’s children. The most beautiful thing that hit me today was our Mother’s words when she said: in our lives, in the future, in sanctity, in freedom, with a joyful heart, just like the joy of all Saints we learned of from reading their lives, giving testimony to others. I truly believe that today we are called to share all this in the freedom that God is giving us, to grow not only in prayer, not to be afraid because God is with us, thus, we have to open up our own lives to others. Concluding this very rich and long message I should say I have to change my life by giving testimony and, like you say Father Livio, we are free Christians not slaves of any ideologies or anything but Love of God, immense love for each creature for whom He sent His and our Mother to help us and to free us. FL.: Listen Marjia, that’s all right but I would like to have from you an exact answer because as you know here we are working with our Mother’s words and I don’t want to absolutely leave in the uncertainty this that is a very important thing, because the fact that one vocabulary word has been changed when in Croatian our Mother didn’t say “chains” (and Father Livio as he speaks he is pronouncing it in Croatian) but bonds, could have a significant impact all over the world. Is it truth that is like this? M.: It’s true, it’s true Father Livio and we switched it with a more powerful expression in reality bonds could be used for families, in various ways…I wouldn’t even know what to say for the reason why we have chosen such a powerful word… FL.: Yes, yes, I understand why the word “chains” has been used being a powerful and clearer one to describe this phrase, but at the same time let’s say that “chains” have a savor, a very alarming sound. I didn’t want this message to create different types of alarms. Obviously, Our Lady spoke of Satan’s deceptions, various bonds of Satan with which they certainly keep us tight and in chains, therefore it’s right to say that our Mother in Croatian used the word “bonds” (and again F. Livio is pronouncing it in Marija’s mother tongue). Are you able to confirm to me that what we have said is true? M.: Yes, I do Yes, I do F. Livio. I therefore would like to add that no matter which word is used, bonds or chains, what is really important is that they don’t lead you to God because like our Mother said: God is Love and freedom and when freedom is missing in all circumstances, it’s not good at all. We all have a great commitment: prayer for freedom from fear of this new coming ideology. With the help of God Who is working for us in every context we are in this modern world where man wants to put himself in place of God. Our Mother is saying to us: “Return to God”. FL.: Anyhow in this message like in the previous one our Mother tells us she is sent to us by God, in the end in the current one and at the beginning in the last one. At last, She is here to help us to grow in holiness to lead us to a perfect militant lived faith. M.: For this reason, I strongly believe that today we are called to be the expression of God; if we are not, it means we don’t pray because he who prays is not afraid of the future, Our Lady told us many times not to be afraid of anything, life is a gift a wonderful thing, our life even if short. We are called to express each color of it, our life is rich with thousands of shades, thousands of possibilities, God gave us intelligence, sanctity in our hearts, a sensitivity which comes only from Heaven. When I see Her, I feel that sensitivity from Heaven and we have to be just like Her. I remember when we were younger and over thousands and thousands of messages, we used them, and we always felt that sensitivity. Even now I smell the perfume of Heaven when I see Her, and I feel like screaming to the whole world “Mary is with us”. She is calling us, she is loving us, inviting us to convert, to go back to God, without God there is no future, no eternal life. On one side I feel sorry for so many Christians that live in a dark big bubble without any freshness that comes from God. And, thanks to Him, we feel it here in Medjugorje. F.L.: Can we say that even in the times we live in, with all constraints there is no one to prevent us from becoming saints. M.: Exactly, exactly, but also to express our sanctity through our life and deeds. Nowadays, thanks to God we have so many possibilities to do good works for others we can do it even through a small gesture, let’s do it with a smile. FL.: There is no one to prevent us from becoming saints, to convert us in a few days, few hours as long as we kneel down before the Cross. M.: Exactly but this is even harder, it’s already a walk. I think that if we are sad, we should start praying because he who prays is a profoundly positive man, a joyful man. I think in this way, since we are tied up with the Covid matter for instance, next Saturday here in Medjugorje we are going to start a sort of catechesis, let’s call it a Congress, in Chinese language, where we will testify like we did in Spanish, in German etc. hopefully we’ll reach many hearts to become fruits of Medjugorje. I can’t help watching how wonderful this life-change has been for so many. It gives me an immense joy because I am not alone, and I see so many people in whom conversion doesn’t just happen for three days but takes a lifetime. It’s not perfect, and it makes us aware of the fact that we always have to work on it…. This is what I also say to pagans, to people far away from God and he who has not found the Love of God yet… FL.: It’s true, it’s true and anyhow the atomic weapon we have in our hands is prayer and that is the truth, prayer works miracles in people’s hearts, throughout the world we have to understand this. M.: Exactly because our Lord touches each heart. I remember once when I asked Our Lady to heal a person and she answered me: Pray, for the length of your prayer you will be answered if you pray like this: we pray, we open our hearts and she intercedes before God, because she will do just as she did at Cana by saying: “They have no wine”. By prayer we become a healing channel, a great joy! We just experienced the last few days, a man was diagnosed with an irreversible cancer in his head; in this case he claimed: “Our Holy Mother healed me” and “I was dead, now I am a new person”. He came to Medjugorje and received a miracle! The joy and transformation of his life is something really important for all of us. It’s tempting to ask him: which prayer did you say, which recipe did you use, to whom did you go? Knowing that the Lord through our prayers, heals and fills us with all kinds of gifts, frees us from evil. The merciful God of peace!… All this brings a great joy to my heart! F.L.: All right Marjia, this message is extremely difficult, but you were wonderful, good work Màrija! M.: I am still in a crisis because I keep on saying to myself: it’s never enough, I have to do more. We have just now passed the fortieth year of apparitions and with great gratitude we are not asking any longer “why me” but responding with our lives and our speeches. Sometimes I wonder if the words I say may touch somebody’s heart and I hope today I was able to help someone to get closer to Her Immaculate Heart. FL.
