I am carrying to you the King of Peace!
Dear Family of Mary!
Novena for Christmas, Day 2
Our Lady speaks to us of peace again in this message from Christmas 2013:
December 25, 2013″Dear children! I am carrying to you the King of Peace that He may give you His peace. You, little children, pray, pray, pray. The fruit of prayer will be seen on the faces of the people who have decided for God and His Kingdom. I, with my Son Jesus, bless you all with a blessing of peace. Thank you for having responded to my call.”
On this Christmas day, Our Lady came again carrying the Baby Jesus in her arms. She brings Him every year! The Baby Jesus is the King of Peace! How is this so? Because the God of the Universe, the Second Person of the Trinity, was incarnate of the Virgin Mary and became Man! He came to reconcile all humanity with the Father, to bring unity back into creation. He came to free us from sin and rebellion, and give us a new birth of holiness and love through His Death and Resurrection. So, Jesus is the Peace Maker right from his Conception!
Jesus is the Peace Maker! He it is who saves us, brings us back into His embrace, holds us close to His Heart until we are healed of all our wounds and sins. He it is who loves us totally.
And so, this Child that Mary brings to us is our only hope! Our only hope!!
How do we receive this hope, this faith, this love, this salvation? Our Lady tells us to pray, pray, pray. If we pray, our faces will change, we will no longer look lost and without hope. We will reflect Heaven. The light of Jesus’ love will shine on our faces, and we will be peace and joy for others.
Take time today to contemplate the King of Peace. Just let Him shine upon you. Pray, pray, pray. Don’t think about anything else. Only Jesus, the Child King! Let Him take up all your thoughts and memories and hopes and fears, and turn them into peace.
If we pray, pray, pray from now until Christmas Eve, we will be changed. And that change will be seen on our faces! The world needs to see our faces changed!
In Jesus, Mary and Joseph!
