My children, apostles of my love!

Dear Family of Mary!
Today is Monday of the First Week in Ordinary Time. The word Ordinary here does not mean that these weeks are just humdrum, usual or not special! It signifies that these days are “numbered”. There are only so many weeks in a year, and the Church needs to carefully manage each day of each week so that we faithful will be blessed and taught!
So on this Monday of the 1st week in Ordinary Time we hear from the Gospel of Mark:
After John had been arrested, Jesus came to Galilee proclaiming the Gospel of God: “This is the time of fulfillment. The Kingdom of God is at hand. Repent and believe in the Gospel.” (Mk 1:14-15)
Jesus came, proclaiming the Gospel of God!! The Kingdom of God is at hand!!! What a shock and joy it must have been to hear these words! Don’t we all long for the Kingdom of God? Don’t we groan in anticipation?
And Our Lady came to call us to that very same Kingdom! She told us:
Wednesday, March 14, 1984
“Pray and fast so that the Kingdom of God may come among you. Let my Son set you aglow with His fire.”
I believe that the Kingdom of God is growing in our midst through Our Lady’s presence and her guidance. We are growing in the fire of Christ’s love and holiness through her care and teaching!
In this message, given through Mirjana, Our Lady speaks about the Kingdom and how we can receive it and spread it:
December 2, 2019
“Dear children,
as I am looking at you who love my Son,
my heart is being filled with tenderness.
I am blessing you with a motherly blessing.
With a motherly blessing,
I am also blessing your shepherds –
you who speak the words of my Son,
who bless with His hands
and who love Him so much
that you are ready to make every sacrifice
for Him with joy.
You are following Him,
who was the first shepherd,
the first missionary.
My children, apostles of my love,
to live and work for others,
for all those whom you love through my Son,
is the joy and comfort of earthly life.
If through prayer, love and sacrifice
the Kingdom of God is in your hearts,
then your life is joyful and bright.
Among those who love my Son
and who love each other through Him,
words are not necessary.
A gaze is sufficient for the unspoken words
and unexpressed feelings to be heard.
There where love reigns,
time no longer counts.
We are with you.
My Son knows you and loves you.
Love is that which brings you to me,
and through that love I will come to you
and speak to you of the works of salvation.
I desire for all of my children to have faith
and to feel my motherly love
which leads them to Jesus.
Therefore, you, my children,
wherever you go,
illuminate with love and faith
as apostles of love.
Thank you.”
Our Lady speaks to us all in this message, though she singles out her priests, those she calls “shepherds”, with these beautiful words, “With a motherly blessing, I am also blessing your shepherds – you who speak the words of my Son, who bless with His hands and who love Him so much that you are ready to make every sacrifice for Him with joy. You are following Him, who was the first shepherd, the first missionary.”
We are so blessed to have our priests. May we always cherish them and support them!
Yet, we are all called to be her apostles, “My children, apostles of my love, to live and work for others, for all those whom you love through my Son, is the joy and comfort of earthly life.” This is the way we build the Kingdom of God that she is announcing in our day!
May we live with the great joy of being Our Lady’s Apostles of Love! May we help to spread the Kingdom of God, which is among us in this day!
