The Holy Spirit Novena, Day 8
Dear Family of Mary!
We all have had moments when we just didn’t know what to do!! The issues could be rather small, for instance, what exit to take on the freeway, or what can I make for dinner tonight to honor our guest? Though these may seem small, they can often have bigger consequenses than we realize. But then there are the big questions, like what should I study in college, or should I take this job?
I think that it is moments like this when we can realize that God does have a plan for each of us, and that He will guide us if we allow Him to do so. Our Lady gave us a powerful message in which she told us exactly that. God does have a plan for each of us, and if we let Him, He will guide us day by day, even sometimes minute by minute. Here is the message:
May 25, 1993
“Dear children! Today I invite you to open yourselves to God by means of prayer so the Holy Spirit may begin to work miracles in you and through you. I am with you and I intercede before God for each one of you because, dear children, each one of you is important in my plan of salvation. I invite you to be carriers of good and peace. God can give you peace only if you convert and pray. Therefore, my dear little children, pray, pray, pray and do that which the Holy Spirit inspires you. Thank you for having responded to my call.”
Our Lady tells us that each one of us is important in Her plan of salvation! And we need to “pray, pray, pray and do that which the Holy Spirit inspires you!!!”
Come Holy Spirit, and give us the grace to recognize your inspirations!!! May we live our lives under your direction, always in prayer and love!
