Dear Family of Mary!
Jesus said to his disciples: “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give it to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled or afraid…” John 14:27-28
In today’s Gospel, Jesus comforts his disciples with His promise of peace. No matter what was to come, He assured them that they would have His peace, a peace that is not of this world. He promises us that same peace. Peace that the world cannot give. His peace is a heavenly peace, a peace that is eternal.
We witness Jesus’ peace in the stories of the saints. No matter the worldly circumstances, the saints demonstrate a clarity of vision and a certainty of hope that only God can give. They demonstrate the peace that the world cannot give.
Our Lady has offered us the peace that Jesus gives in her messages as well. Let us prayerfully receive her words of peace:
September 25, 2001 “Dear children! Also today I call you to prayer, especially today when satan wants war and hatred. I call you anew, little children: pray and fast that God may give you peace. Witness peace to every heart and be carriers of peace in this world without peace. I am with you and intercede before God for each of you. And you do not be afraid because the one who prays is not afraid of evil and has no hatred in the heart… Thank you for having responded to my call.”
December 25, 2006 “Dear children! Also today I bring you the newborn Jesus in my arms. He who is the King of Heaven and earth, He is your peace. Little children, no one can give you peace as He who is the King of Peace. Therefore, adore Him in your hearts, choose Him and you will have joy in Him. He will bless you with His blessing of peace. Thank you for having responded to my call.”

“Dear children, by the merciful love of God, I am with you. That is why, as a mother, I am calling you to believe in love – the love that is union with my Son. With love you help others to open their hearts to come to know my Son and to come to love Him. My children, love makes it for my Son to illuminate your hearts with His grace, to grow in you and to give you peace. My children, if you live love, if you live my Son, you will have peace and you will be happy. In love is victory. Thank you.”
Our Lady tells us: “My children, if you live love, if you live my Son, you will have peace and you will be happy.” May it be so!!!
