The Novena to the Holy Spirit, Day 9-Vigil of Pentecost
Dear Family of Mary!
Today is Day 9 of our Novena to the Holy Spirit!!
Here is Our Lady’s most recent message to us which is perfectly meant for this novena:
The April 25, 2026 Message from Our Lady, Queen of Peace
“Dear children, I am praying for you and encourage you to a new life, a life in joy and prayer. May the Holy Spirit fill you, little children, with joy so that you may be like a spring of pure and drinkable water; that you, little children, may be, in God and with God, missionaries of love and peace. Your life is short here on earth and that is why I am with you to lead you towards Heaven. Thank you for having responded to my call.” (With ecclesiastical approval)
Our Lady knows what is most important for us! We need the Holy Spirit!!!
Let us pray the last day of our Novena to the Holy Spirit:
Prayer for the Seven Gifts of the Holy Spirit
Christ Jesus, before ascending into heaven,
You promised to send the Holy Spirit
to Your apostles and disciples.
Grant that the same Spirit may perfect in our lives
the work of Your grace and love.
Grant us the Spirit of Fear of the Lord
that we may be filled
with a loving reverence toward You;
The Spirit of Piety
that we may find peace and fulfillment
in the service of God while serving others;
The Spirit of Fortitude
that we may bear our cross with You
and, with courage, overcome the obstacles
that interfere with our salvation;
The Spirit of Knowledge
that we may know You
and know ourselves and grow in holiness;
The Spirit of Understanding
to enlighten our minds
with the light of Your truth;
The Spirit of Counsel
that we may choose the surest way
of doing Your will,
seeking first the Kingdom;
The Spirit of Wisdom
that we may aspire
to the things that last forever;
And teach us to be Your faithful disciples
and animate us in every way with Your Spirit.
Amen.
Day 9 (Saturday, 7th Week of Easter)
Sent with the power to reconcile!
Thou on those who evermore,
Thee confess and Thee adore,
In Thy sevenfold gifts, descend;
Give them comfort when they die;
Give them life with Thee on high;
Give them joys which never end. Amen.
Father, through Jesus, Your Son,
You sent the Paraclete to be at our side,
to reconcile all Creation to you.
Grant that I may be forever open
to Jesus’ invitation to
“Receive The Holy Spirit!”
Father, open our hearts to accept
Your forgiveness for our sins
and to offer that same forgiveness
to those who we feel have offended us.
For merciful forgiveness is the essence
of Your love revealed in Your Son.
Come, O Divine Spirit,
fill my heart with Your Heavenly Fruits –
Your charity,
joy,
peace,
patience,
benignity,
goodness,
faith,
mildness
and temperance,
that I may, by faithful submission to your Inspiration,
merit to be united eternally with You
in the love of the Father and the Son.
Amen.
We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
Here is a message from Our Lady:
May 25, 1993
“Dear children!
Today I invite you
to open yourselves to God by means of prayer
so the Holy Spirit may begin
to work miracles in you and through you.
I am with you
and I intercede before God for each one of you
because, dear children,
each one of you is important
in my plan of salvation.
I invite you to be
carriers of good and peace.
God can give you peace
only if you convert and pray.
Therefore, my dear little children,
pray, pray, pray
and do that which the Holy Spirit inspires you.
Thank you for having responded to my call.”
This final day of the Novena to the Holy Spirit is a challenge to respond! We have prayed for the Holy Spirit to bless us, cover us with His wings of protection, and fill us with His Gifts!
Now we must open ourselves in prayer to God, to receive those gifts and graces and spread them throughout the world!
Tomorrow is the day to receive the renewed outpouring of the Spirit!
Come Holy Spirit!!! Come!!!
Let us pray the Glorious Mysteries of the Rosary!
