St. Elizabeth Ann Seton
Dear Family of Mary!
“Dear children! I am carrying to you my Son Jesus who is the King of Peace. He gives you peace and may it not be only for you but, little children, carry it to others in joy and humility. I am with you and am praying for you in this time of grace which God desires to give you. My presence is a sign of love here while I am with you to protect you and lead you towards eternity. Thank you for having responded to my call.” (December 25, 2018)
Our Lady’s words are clear and simple. She wants us to receive Jesus, the King of Peace, into our lives and give Him to others. We can only do this if we realize that the peace we receive is meant to be given away! And this is a time of grace, and so our efforts will be increased by that grace, making them powerful! Even the smallest gesture of love will carry with it the great graces of this time. We may be underestimating the graces of this time while Our Lady is with us! Let’s not waste them!
Here is a litany that has been composed of the various titles of Jesus that Padre Pio mentioned. Padre Pio was himself a huge conduit of grace for others. Just to attend his Mass could change the hardest heart. May Padre Pio pray with us as we honor Jesus by these titles. May he help us to give the peace we receive to others.
