Dear Family of Mary!
Here is a portion of the First Reading for Holy Mass today:
Love is patient, love is kind. It is not jealous, love is not pompous, it is not inflated, it is not rude, it does not seek its own interests, it is not quick-tempered, it does not brood over injury, it does not rejoice over wrongdoing but rejoices with the truth. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails. (1Corinthians 13: 4 – 7)
St. Paul teaches us the bottom line in the Christian life! Love… Love works miracles in us and around us! Love never fails, as St. Paul says!! Jesus is the King of Love!
Our Lady has called us to love in her messages. She is an expert! Here are three messages we can ponder today. May her heart of love fill us with love as well!!

“Dear children, Today, with my motherly heart, I call you gathered around me to love your neighbor. My children, stop. Look in the eyes of your brother and see Jesus, my Son. If you see joy, rejoice with him. If there is pain in the eyes of your brother, with your tenderness and goodness, cast it away, because without love you are lost. Only love is effective; it works miracles. Love will give you unity in my Son and the victory of my heart. Therefore, my children, love.”

“Dear children, by the merciful love of God, I am with you. That is why, as a mother, I am calling you to believe in love – the love that is union with my Son. With love you help others to open their hearts to come to know my Son and to come to love Him. My children, love makes it for my Son to illuminate your hearts with His grace, to grow in you and to give you peace. My children, if you live love, if you live my Son, you will have peace and you will be happy. In love is victory. Thank you.”

“Dear children, on this day of grace, I am calling you to love. Little children, God loves you immeasurably and that is why, little children, full of trust and without looking back and without fear, completely surrender your hearts to Him so that God may fill them with His love. Do not be afraid to believe in His love and mercy, because His love is stronger than every one of your weaknesses and fears. Therefore, my children, full of love in your hearts, trust in Jesus and say your ‘yes’ to Him, because He is the only way which leads you to the Eternal Father.”
Our Lady calls us to love. May our hearts respond to her call. May we become her children of love, those who first love her Son, Jesus, and then, for Jesus’ sake, love all of our brothers and sisters as well!
