To Clarify a News Report Circulating
Tomislav Vlasic, a former friar, was never the spiritual director to the visionaries of Medjugorje.
Old news is no news. Vlasic’s connection to Medjugorje had been severed in the Eighties when he sought to interject himself into the Medjugorje phenomenon. The visionaries and their spiritual director Fr Slavko firmly barred his intrusion. He was not the spiritual father of the visionaries in any sense. He became an embarrassment to the Franciscans and left Medjugorje in the early 80’s.
Vlasic had become entangled with a woman, a witch, who had come to Medjugorje promoting a fake healing. I remember all of this very well. He caused the visionaries, the Franciscans and the parish much suffering… Our Lady had said in her messages that Satan had left many places in the world to come to Medjugorje and focus his attention there, in order to try to thwart what God was doing through Medjugorje.
By their fruits you shall know them. Sadly, Vlasic’s words and actions constitute the antithesis of everything that Medjugorje is all about.
Our Lady warned us all:
