February 18, 2022 Reflection – “You must learn to listen with the heart!”

You must learn to listen with the heart! February 18, 2022 Dear Family of Mary! Our Lady is a wonderful teacher. We can know this because God chose her to be the first teacher of His Son, Jesus! We can only imagine the wonderful conversations they had together from His earliest childhood. She with her Immaculate Heart sharing all she knew in her gentle and kind manner with Jesus. And Jesus, with His perfect though childlike intellect, asking the most amazing questions! It must have been so beautiful! And now, Our Lady is with us to teach us as well. She is our Mother, and we need her gentle and wise guidance and direction in our lives. Our Lady wants only the good for us. Always she addresses us with such kindness and gentleness. Let me share some examples of her gentle and wise direction: “Dear children, learn to give thanks in little things and then you will be able to give thanks also for the big things.” (10/3/85) “In prayer, learn to love everything that is holy.” (10/25/04) “My children, if you desire to walk with me towards the peace of God’s love, you must learn to forgive and to ask for forgiveness.” (9/02/10) “Through prayer and fasting, you must learn to listen with the heart and to learn to keep submitting yourselves. You must learn to keep rejecting everything that distances you from God’s word and to yearn only for that which draws you closer to it.” (9/2/13) “Dear children, with a motherly heart filled with love for you, my children, I desire to teach you complete trust in God the Father. I desire for you to learn by an internal gaze and internal listening to follow God’s will. I desire for you to learn to boundlessly trust in His mercy and His love, as I always trusted.” (3/18/16) These directives are simple but incredibly powerful. Those who learn them will find their way to heaven for sure. May we follow our Mother’s call, and learn to give thanks in little things, learn to love everything that is holy, learn to forgive and ask forgiveness, learn to listen with the heart and yearn for all that draws us closer to God’s will, and learn to trust God the Father. We will find ourselves resting in the peace of Christ if we do! In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Cathy Nolan Mary TV 2022

February 17, 2022 Reflection – “Return to God and to prayer…”

Return to God and to prayer… February 17, 2022 Dear Family of Mary! August 25, 2020 “Dear children! This is a time of grace. I am with you and anew am calling you, little children: return to God and to prayer until prayer will be a joy for you. Little children, you do not have a future or peace until your life begins with a personal conversion and a change to the good. Evil will cease and peace will begin to reign in your hearts and in the world. Therefore, little children, pray… pray… pray… I am with you and intercede before my Son Jesus for each of you. Thank you for having responded to my call.” In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Cathy Nolan Mary TV 2022

February 16, 2022 Reflection – “I, the mother, am coming to help you…”

I, the mother, am coming to help you…! February 16, 2022 Dear Family of Mary! “At the foot of the cross Mary gave us spiritual birth, having conceived us spiritually by her fiat at the Incarnation. Now in heaven she puts forth every effort to lift us up to God and to form Christ in every one of us. This mother seeks to promote only what is eternal and divine. It is not the ephemeral life of earth that she imparts, but the life that is eternal.” (Fr. Philipon, OP) Our Lady’s message of January 2, 2018: “Dear children, when love is beginning to disappear on earth, when the way of salvation is not being found, I, the mother, am coming to help you to come to know true faith – living and profound – so as to help you to truly love. As a mother, I am longing for your mutual love, goodness, and purity. My desire is that you be just and that you love each other. My children, be joyful in your soul, be pure, be children. My Son used to say that he loves to be among pure hearts, because pure hearts are always young and joyful. My Son said to you to forgive and to love each other. I know that this is not always easy. Suffering makes you grow in spirit. For you to spiritually grow all the more, you must sincerely and truly forgive and love. Many of my children on earth do not know my Son, they do not love Him; but you who do love my Son, you who carry Him in your heart, pray… pray… and in praying feel my Son beside you. May your soul breathe in His spirit. I am among you and am speaking about little and great things. I will not grow tired speaking to you about my Son – the true love. Therefore, my children, open your hearts to me. Permit me to lead you as a mother. Be apostles of the love of my Son and of me. As a mother I implore you not to forget those whom my Son has called to lead you. Carry them in your heart and pray for them. Thank you.” In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Cathy Nolan Mary TV 2022

February 14, 2022 Reflection – Mary, our Mother!

Mary, our Mother!   February 14, 2022 SS Cyril and Methodius Dear Family of Mary! June 25, 2013“Dear children! With joy in the heart I love you all and call you to draw closer to my Immaculate Heart so I can draw you still closer to my Son Jesus, and that He can give you His peace and love, which are nourishment for each one of you. Open yourselves, little children, to prayer – open yourselves to my love. I am your mother and cannot leave you alone in wandering and sin. You are called, little children, to be my children, my beloved children, so I can present you all to my Son. Thank you for having responded to my call.” Our Lady is our Mother! She is truly our Mother. And as our Mother, she calls to us through her presence in Medjugorje. Her call is life-giving, because she draws us to the source of life, her Son. We have no idea how powerful Mary’s love for us is! As she said in the June 25, 2013 message: “You are called, little children, to be my children, my beloved children, so I can present you all to my Son.” I found this wonderful description of Our Lady’s motherly role in our salvation in the Magnificat for February, and I just can’t help but share it with you. Fr. Philipon captures the incredible reality of Mary’s motherhood for each one of us. Please read this excerpt with as much attention as you can. It will fill you with such great faith and hope: Christ acts in his Church as priest and king. Through the offering of the holy sacrifice of the Mass, of which he is the principal priest, and through the sanctification of souls, Christ exercises his eternal priesthood in a manner that is always present and efficacious. Through his visible representatives, authorized by him, the Word Incarnate himself continues to offer the sacrifice of his Church and to administer the sacraments. It is Christ himself who baptizes, gives absolution, ordains his priests, joins his faithful in marriage, and who at the end of their life prepares them through extreme unction to pass from this life to his Father’s house in heaven. In the communicating of grace, as everywhere else, Mary and Jesus work together. Here, as always, it is in her capacity as mother that Mary is associated with this action of her Son that reaches to the inmost being of the soul. Doubtless, her role in this respect is not priestly or sacramental, but one in keeping with her office as mother. Every mother, it should be noted, brings forth life. In fact, God in his eternal plan bestowed on Mary the office of a twofold motherhood. By her divine motherhood she brought forth God in the flesh; by her spiritual motherhood she gives birth every day to the life of God in the souls of men and women. At the foot of the cross Mary gave us spiritual birth, having conceived us spiritually by her fiat at the Incarnation. Now in heaven she puts forth every effort to lift us up to God and to form Christ in every one of us. This mother seeks to promote only what is eternal and divine. It is not the ephemeral life of earth that she imparts, but the life that is eternal. Needless to say it is not she who baptizes, confirms, and administers the sacraments. Nevertheless it is she who brings us the life of the Blessed Trinity. To repeat, Mary like every mother is a giver of life. She works with her Son in bringing sanctifying grace to all the children of God: he as the head of the Mystical Body and as priest and mediator; she as mother, all-powerful in action, unceasingly moved and guided by the three divine Persons of the Blessed Trinity. God the Father chose her as the mother of all his adopted children; the Son Incarnate made her a partner in his entire work of redemption; and in the sanctification of souls the Holy Spirit employs her as an instrument of predilection. Accordingly, we can say in all truth that nothing comes about in the supernatural order without the mediatory action of Mary. (From The Mother of God,by Fr. Philipon, Trans. by Rev. John A. Otto (1953)- Magnificat, February 2022, p. 163-64) Isn’t this description of Our Lady exactly what we experience in Medjugorje!!! Our Lady truly is constantly trying “to lift us up to God and to form Christ in every one of us!” She promotes only what is eternal and divine in her messages! And she calls us to her Son, and gives us His life, through her prayer and guidance. As Fr. Philipon said: “Accordingly, we can say in all truth that nothing comes about in the supernatural order without the mediatory action of Mary.” Truly Our Lady’s mediation is necessary for our salvation!! And she is with us!! “You are called, little children, to be my children, my beloved children, so I can present you all to my Son.” In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Cathy Nolan Mary TV 2022

February 11, 2022 Reflection – I desire to bring you all to Heaven unto God!

I desire to bring you all to heaven unto God!   February 11, 2022 Our Lady of Lourdes Dear Family of Mary! November 27, 1986 “Dear children! Again today I call you to consecrate your life to me with love, so I am able to guide you with love. I love you, dear children, with a special love and I desire to bring you all to Heaven unto God. I want you to realize that this life lasts briefly compared to the one in Heaven. Therefore, dear children, decide again today for God. Only that way will I be able to show how much you are dear to me and how much I desire all to be saved and to be with me in Heaven. Thank you for having responded to my call.” Our Lady comes from Heaven to be with us every day. She sees everything from the eternal, heavenly perspective. We cannot imagine that perspective! It is beyond our experience and we can only guess at how it feels to be in Heaven and then see life on earth! In the message above, Our Lady’s words give us a little glimpse of what she feels. She tells us she loves us with a special love and that she desires to bring us all to heaven unto God. Imagine! She is our mother! And she sees her children living on earth, in time, far from God and Heaven. Of course she wants to bring us all to Heaven! She is our Mom!! She also assures us that our time on earth is short! It is a blink of an eye compared to Heaven. But even so, Our Lady wants us with her asap!! Yesterday I was blessed to be at the wake of a friend we have known many years. His wife told me that during her husband’s illness, they had prayed many rosaries, and as the end drew near, a strange and beautiful peace began to cover them both. The evening her husband died, she said that he began to gaze upward with eyes wide open and a look of wonder on his face. Then he just went peacefully to sleep. She was sure the Our Lady had come for him. This beautiful experience of peace was the fruit of many years of prayer in that family. And when I approached the casket, to say farewell, I felt that peace. And then I heard an interior voice that seemed to be the husband speaking, and he said, “What are you worried about? Heaven is waiting! This is why we are born! The Lord is waiting for you! He is calling you to Heaven. Do not fear, but be filled with joy!” It was so clear to me!! Again, it seemed to be someone speaking from eternity into my temporal life. It was the voice of hope and joy! The call to desire eternal life with God! This is why we were created! It is for us! We should feel called to a life in Heaven! As Our Lady said to us: I love you, dear children, with a special love and I desire to bring you all to Heaven unto God. May we respond to Our Lady’s call, live her messages, and have a deep hope for the future of life in Heaven with God! In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Cathy Nolan Mary TV 2022 PS. Let’s ask St. Bernadette to pray for us, that we will respond to Our Lady’s call to us with the same devotion and courage as she did! Our Lady of Lourdes, pray for us!

February 10, 2022 Reflection – You should live by prayer…

You should live by prayer…   February 9, 2022 Dear Family of Mary! Our Lady gave this powerful advice through Jelena in 1983: Sunday, December 4, 1983 (To Jelena) “Pray, pray, pray only. Prayer should be for you, not only a habit, but also a source of goodness. You should live by prayer.” I believe that we are learning in these days the truth of Our Lady’s words in 1983. We can no longer go through life on automatic. We must be in a serious, one on one relationship with Jesus, if we are to find our way to heaven. The battle has grown intense. I heard these gentle words during prayer recently: “Don’t waste a prayer…” It seems like Our Lady was saying that very thing to Jelena in 1983. In her sweet way, Our Lady was advising her and all of us to double down on our prayer, make every word count, and to pray as if our lives depend upon it. Indeed, we know that they do! Denis shared in Stories from Denis #1, how he was clinging so desperately to prayer in the early years of our marriage. He prayed with his entire being, asking for God to heal our marriage. You might want to watch that episode, to get an idea of how prayer can become life, and what God did for Denis! February 9, 2022 Reflection – The secret key of meeting with God!

The secret key of meeting with God   February 9, 2022 Dear Family of Mary! And he said to them, “Come away by yourselves to a lonely place, and rest a while.” For many were coming and going, and they had no leisure even to eat. And they went away in the boat to a lonely place by themselves. (Mark 6: 31-32) Jesus had been teaching and healing the multitudes, and he could see that the disciples were exhausted. So he took them in a boat, hoping to find a quiet place to be with them, resting and speaking together. This scripture is a nice representation of what prayer can be for us. Jesus wants to take us off by ourselves for a while, where we each can rest with Him and speak to Him. Such a time of rest and conversation is very healing and restoring. It is such a human need. But in our modern times we are tempted to use the internet, the TV, and other media to take the place of quiet and conversation. We are so occupied that we don’t realize how lonely and tired we are. Our Lady calls us to prayer. It is a kind of prayer in which we can go to a lonely place and speak with Jesus. It is the kind of prayer in which nothing matters but our relationship with the Lord. He is with us and we speak together about so many things. It is a time to rest our souls with our Lord. Our Lady wants this for us. She has spoken about having a “meeting” with God several times. Here are three messages in which she encourages us to go off alone with Jesus and speak to Him: November 25, 1988 “Dear children! I call you to prayer, to have an encounter with God in prayer. God gives Himself to you, but He wants you to answer in your own freedom to his invitation. That is why little children during the day, find yourself a special time when you could pray in peace and humility, and have this meeting with God the creator. I am with you and I intercede for you in front of God, so watch in vigil, so that every encounter in prayer be the joy of your contact with God. Thank you for having responded to my call.” March 25, 2008“Dear children! I call you to work on your personal conversion. You are still far from meeting with God in your heart. Therefore, spend all the more time in prayer and Adoration of Jesus in the Most Blessed Sacrament of the Altar, for Him to change you and to put into your hearts a living faith and a desire for eternal life. Everything is passing, little children, only God is not passing. I am with you and I encourage you with love. Thank you for having responded to my call.” August 25, 2017“Dear children! Today I am calling you to be people of prayer. Pray until prayer becomes a joy for you and a meeting with the Most High. He will transform your hearts and you will become people of love and peace. Do not forget, little children, that Satan is strong and wants to draw you away from prayer. You, do not forget that prayer is the secret key of meeting with God. That is why I am with you to lead you. Do not give up on prayer. Thank you for having responded to my call.” May we find our way to that lonely and secret place of prayer, where we can meet our Savior!! In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Cathy Nolan Mary TV 2022

February 8, 2022 Reflection – “I am blessing you with my motherly blessing.”

I am blessing you with my Motherly Blessing!   February 8, 2022 Dear Family of Mary! “Dear children!… I am with you and am blessing all of you with my motherly blessing.” (January 25, 2022) Our Lady has been blessing us with her Motherly Blessing month after month! She blesses us so freely and unconditionally. She lavishes her blessing upon us because she desires so much for us. She wants us to live lives of grace, full of the joy of knowing and loving God, full of the hope of a future with her in Heaven. She wants us to be healed by her love. She wants us to know how very much we are accepted by her, loved by her, and called by her. And so she blesses us! I think it is important to recognize her blessing by opening our hearts to her with expectation. I believe her blessing is tangible and real. Every day we can acknowledge Our Lady’s presence with us and receive her blessing in prayer. It only takes a moment. But it can change us within. Because her blessing gives us the sense of well being that a child has when he is near his mother. That security and well being is healing. It gives us strength. Our Lady said to us: June 25, 1993 “Dear children! Today I also rejoice at your presence here. I bless you with my motherly blessing and intercede for each one of you before God. I call you anew to live my messages and to put them into life and practice. I am with you and bless all of you day by day. Dear children, these are special times and, therefore, I am with you to love and protect you; to protect your hearts from satan and to bring you all closer to the heart of my Son, Jesus. Thank you for having responded to my call.” These are special times, and we definitely need the protection and blessing of Our Lady of Medjugorje. May we all open our hearts to her blessing. She has been sent from Heaven to give it to us! In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Cathy Nolan Mary TV 2022

February 7, 2022 Reflection – “I am with you.”

I am with you!   February 7, 2022 Dear Family of Mary! “Dear children! Today I am calling you to return to personal prayer. Little children, do not forget that Satan is strong and that he wants to attract all the more souls to himself. That is why, you be vigilant in prayer and resolute in the good. I am with you and am blessing all of you with my motherly blessing. Thank you for having responded to my call.” (January 25, 2022) Our Lady has told us that she is with us at least 220 times in her messages. It is one of the things she wants us to be very sure of. She is with us. But it is a simple sentence which sounds very much like something a mother would say, and we run the risk of breezing through it. What does it mean for Our Lady to be with us? The Lord spoke to His people in the Old Testament many times about His presence with them. It was the sign that He was blessing them and sustaining them. Here is one such moment: “Fear not, for I am with you, be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my victorious right hand.” (Is 41:10) The Lord was trying to reassure His people that He would take care of them. How? By being with them. His presence alone was enough to protect them and defend them. I feel that in these days, Our Lady’s presence among us, in Medjugorje, is a similar reassurance. She is with us, sent by the very God of Abraham, to protect us and to defend us, to lead us and to teach us God’s ways. She is with us because God has sent her to us. She is with us as a blessing, a motherly blessing. It might be a good exercise to try to imagine what it would be like if Our Lady stopped being with us. How would it feel? What would change in our lives if she just stopped coming? It is a fearsome thought. We do feel her, so close, in these days. And we need her to be very close. So let’s not overlook her presence, giving thanks every day for Our Lady being with us!!! Our Lady says to us: “Dear children, In this time of God’s signs, do not be afraid because I am with you. The great love of God sends me to lead you to salvation. Give me your simple hearts, purified by fasting and prayer. Only in the simplicity of your hearts is your salvation. I will be with you and lead you. Thank you.” (September 2, 2007) Do not be afraid!! Our Lady is with us even now to lead us to safety. She is with us because God has sent her to us!
