May 31, 2020 Reflection -Come Holy Spirit and Renew the Face of the Earth!

The Rainbow in Medjugorje on May 28, 2020 May 31, 2020 Pentecost Sunday Dear Family of Our Lady of Medjugore, Come, Holy Spirit!!! It was October 13, 1987, the 70th Anniversary of the apocalyptic sign given to the world at Fatima.  My wife Cathy and I were walking up the road to Cross Mountain.  Glancing to our right, we saw over St. James Church – as if touching its two steeples – the most beautiful rainbow! That rainbow spoke to us of God’s great love and blessing for us and for the world. We needed that sign as we had just miscarried a little one while in Medjugorje, and it gave us such peace. On May 28, 2020 there appeared a huge rainbow over St. James Church once again!! It appeared at the very end of Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament!! This rainbow communicated a blessing of peace and hope to us as we gazed upon it!! Again, it seemed we all needed such a blessing, since Covid-19 has covered the world. The Lord was showing us that He has not run out of grace and blessings for us all! Later that evening, there was a rainstorm in South Bend, Indiana, where Cathy and I live! And as the rain continued, the clouds parted and the setting sun glanced through the rain, creating a huge and beautiful rainbow over our little city!! Another sign of God’s faithfulness and blessing! Cathy declared, “Two rainbows!! One over Medjugorje, and one over South Bend, the two places we consider home!!” Something great is coming!  Don’t be afraid! God is with us! Our Lady is filled with joy at the future.  Let’s pray with her today: “so that the Holy Spirit may change your lives and the face of this earth, which is in need of renewal in the Spirit…be prayer for all those who do not pray; be joy for all those who do not see the way out; be carriers of light in the darkness of this peaceless time.” May 25, 2020) In her last Anniversary message she told us: “I am preparing you for the new times that you may be firm in faith and persevering in prayer, so that the Holy Spirit may work through you and renew the face of the earth… !”  (June 25, 2019).  When she gives us her next message – on June 25, 2020 – we’ll have entered into the 40th year of her apparitions! On this great Pentecost Day let’s “be firm in faith and persevering in prayer,” and receive the gifts the Holy Spirit has for us!  Come, Holy Spirit!!! God bless you! May 29, 2020 Reflection -Power from on High!!

A huge rainbow hovered over St. James Church on May 28, 2020, at the end of Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament!! A beautiful sign of God’s love and blessing!! (c) Mary TV 05/28/20   May 29, 2020 Dear Family of Mary! “…Little children be prayer for all those who do not pray; be joy for all those who do not see the way out; be carriers of light in the darkness of this peaceless time…” (May 25, 2020) Our Lady’s beautiful words from the May 25, 2020 message show us our exalted calling in Christ. We are called to be prayer, joy and light! Jesus told His apostles: “And behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you; but stay in the city, until you are clothed with power from on high.” (Lk 24:29) This Power from on high is the Holy Spirit which fell upon the Apostles in the upper room on Pentecost. This Power taught them to pray as they had never prayed before. This Power enabled the Apostles to witness to Christ’s life, death and resurrection in any situation no matter how hostile. This Power gave them a joy that filled them and never stopped flowing out of them, no matter what situation they were in. This Power made them shine with an inner light that enlightened all those to whom they spoke. They became prayer for those who did not pray, joy for all those who did not see the way out, and carriers of light in the darkness of the peacelessness of their time. And this same Power comes over us at Baptism! This Power blesses the Bread and Wine, bringing us our Eucharistic Lord at Holy Mass. This Power strengthens us as Christian witnesses at Confirmation. This is the Power that infuses our marriages with true love. This is the power that transforms holy men into our Priests and gives our religious brothers and sisters the gifts they need to serve. This Power heals us when we are sick. And this Power guides us every moment of our lives, making us prayer, joy and light for all who need it so badly. This is the Holy Spirit! As we prepare for Pentecost, let’s pray this Litany to the Holy Spirit, asking for all the gifts, virtues, and blessings we need to become prayer, joy and light for the world we live in today: Litany to the Holy Spirit Lord, have mercy on us. Christ, have mercy on us. Lord, have mercy on us. Father all-powerful, have mercy on us. Jesus, Eternal Son of the Father, Redeemer of the world, save us. Spirit of the Father and the Son, boundless life of both, sanctify us. Holy Trinity, hear us. Holy Spirit, Who proceedest from the Father and the Son, enter our hearts. Holy Spirit, Who art equal to the Father and the Son, enter our hearts. Promise of God the Father, have mercy on us. Ray of heavenly light, have mercy on us. Author of all good, [etc.] Source of heavenly water Consuming fire Ardent charity Spiritual unction Spirit of love and truth Spirit of wisdom and understanding Spirit of counsel and fortitude Spirit of knowledge and piety Spirit of the fear of the Lord Spirit of grace and prayer Spirit of peace and meekness Spirit of modesty and innocence Holy Spirit, the Comforter Holy Spirit, the Sanctifier Holy Spirit, Who governest the Church Gift of God, the Most High Spirit Who fillest the universe Spirit of the adoption of the children of God Holy Spirit, inspire us with horror of sin. Holy Spirit, come and renew the face of the earth. Holy Spirit, shed Thy light in our souls. Holy Spirit, engrave Thy law in our hearts. Holy Spirit, inflame us with the flame of Thy love. Holy Spirit, open to us the treasures of Thy graces. Holy Spirit, teach us to pray well. Holy Spirit, enlighten us with Thy heavenly inspirations. Holy Spirit, lead us in the way of salvation. Holy Spirit, grant us the only necessary knowledge. Holy Spirit, inspire in us the practice of good. Holy Spirit, grant us the merits of all virtues. Holy Spirit, make us persevere in justice. Holy Spirit, be Thou our everlasting reward. Lamb of God, Who takest away the sins of the world, Send us Thy Holy Spirit. Lamb of God, Who takest away the sins of the world, pour down into our souls the gifts of the Holy Spirit. Lamb of God, Who takest away the sins of the world, grant us the Spirit of wisdom and piety. V. Come, Holy Spirit! Fill the hearts of Thy faithful, R. And enkindle in them the fire of Thy love. Let us pray. Grant, O merciful Father, that Thy Divine Spirit may enlighten, inflame and purify us, that He may penetrate us with His heavenly dew and make us fruitful in good works, through Our Lord Jesus Christ, Thy Son, Who with Thee, in the unity of the same Spirit, liveth and reigneth, one God, forever and ever. R. Amen. In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Cathy Nolan ©Mary TV 2020 P.S. Fr. Leon has been praying a Novena to the Holy Spirit with us on Mary TV since May 22. It will conclude on Saturday, May 30. The Videos of all nine days can be found on our home page, at www.marytv.tv  in Special Programming, in the window “Novena to the Holy Spirit” which has Fr. Leon’s picture in it. May 28, 2020 Reflection -You know what needs to be changed.

(c) Mary TV   May 28, 2020 Dear Family of Mary! “…In your hearts, little children, you know what needs to be changed. Return to God and His Commandments, so that the Holy Spirit may change your lives and the face of this earth, which is in need of renewal in the Spirit…” (May 25, 2020) We still have time to prepare for the coming of the Holy Spirit on Sunday!! We can do an Examination of Conscience to help us uncover what needs to change and give the Holy Spirit room to work in our hearts. (If you can go to confession, that would be even better!!) Who knows, the face of the earth may get lighter and brighter if we do!! There are many guides to examination of conscience. The Ten Commandments are basic and so are the Beatitudes. But here is an examination written by Raymond Leo Cardinal Burke, D.D., J.C.D. It is based on looking at our relationships. I like it because it gives a good context for determining what needs to change!! Our Lady told us we know what needs to be changed!! But this will help us to be precise!! An Examination of Conscience My relationship with God: Did I love God above all things today? Did I seek to love Him in all that I did? Did I put myself at His service? Was I aware of His presence? Did I turn to Him? Did I tell Him that I love Him? Was He the center of my life today? Did I neglect or omit my spiritual practices today? Did worldly anxieties, or fears, keep me from following God’s will? Did I lack trust in God’s love for me today? Was I critical of the Church’s pastors, in thought or word? Did I complain and murmur when I experienced difficulties today, instead of patiently accepting every event and “happening” as coming from God? Was I open to God’s inspiration today? My relationship with my neighbor: Did I fail in “being Christ” to my family members or my neighbor? Did I love others for God’s sake? Did I practice self-forgetfulness, or did I practice self-pity and self-absorption? Was I obstinate, hardhearted, hateful, jealous, injurious, backbiting, violent or unjust in words or actions? Was I lacking in charity, forgiveness, or honesty? Did I gossip and cause injury to another’s reputation or goods? Was I impure or unchaste in any thought, word, or action? Did I steal from, or cheat, someone? Did I behave in a manner that reflects badly upon or could give scandal to the Church? Was I excessive in my zeal, or uncharitable in my witness of the Faith? Was I disobedient to the directives of those in authority over me? Have I been cooperative and generous with my time, energy, and talents in the work of the Church, especially in the apostolate of catechesis? My relationship with myself: Did I fail to make an honest effort to grow in one of the moral virtues of prudence, justice, fortitude and temperance or the theological virtues of faith, hope and charity? Did I fall into discouragement? Did I fail to go forward in serenity and trust in God? Did I fail to practice some form of mortification? Did I fail to try to overcome one of my chief faults? Was I prideful, envious, vain, greedy, angry, intemperate, gluttonous, slothful, impatient, or immodest? Did I fail to cultivate the virtue of humility? (Humility is the foundation of all the virtues. The virtue of humility teaches us to consider ourselves inferior to everyone, at all times.) https://mariancatechist.com/examination-of-conscience-looking-at-relationships/ Only two more days before Pentecost!! Let’s pray for one another!! We pray together to the Holy Spirit: Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of Thy faithful and kindle in them the fire of Thy love. V. Send forth Thy Spirit and we shall be created. R. And Thou shalt renew the face of the earth. Let us pray. O God, Who by the light of the Holy Spirit didst instruct the hearts of thy faithful, grant by the same Spirit that we will be truly wise, and ever to rejoice in His consolation. Through Christ our Lord. Amen. In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Cathy Nolan © Mary TV 2020

May 27, 2020 Pray with me for a new life for all of you!

(c) Mary TV   May 27, 2020 St. Augustine of Canterbury Dear Family of Mary! Once again, here is the message given on May 25, 2020: “Dear children! Pray with me for a new life for all of you. In your hearts, little children, you know what needs to be changed. Return to God and His Commandments, so that the Holy Spirit may change your lives and the face of this earth, which is in need of renewal in the Spirit. Little children be prayer for all those who do not pray; be joy for all those who do not see the way out; be carriers of light in the darkness of this peaceless time. Pray and seek the help and protection of the saints so that you also could yearn for Heaven and Heavenly realities. I am with you and am protecting and blessing all of you with my motherly blessing. Thank you for having responded to my call.”   (May 25, 2020) Our Lady is a powerful intercessor before God. Because of her sinlessness and purity, Our Lady is ‘in sync’ with God! Her will is always joyfully submitted to the Lord! “Be it done to me according to your word.” She lives in complete union with God. And so, when she asks us to: “Pray with me for a new life for all of you….”, we know that this prayer intention is straight from the Father. To pray WITH Our Lady is to join in a prayer that will go straight into the Father’s heart! He will not reject this prayer. The question is, do we want a new life? Do we want to change? Do we want to convert and return to God? Because if we pray with Our Lady for a new life, God will answer with the grace of conversion and repentance! Are we ready?!! Let’s let Our Lady speak to us about our new life through her messages, and pray for our hearts to open to the possibility! A little Litany for a New Life: Our Lady: Pray, dear children, and have more trust in me because I am here in order to help you and to guide you on a new path toward a new life. (10/25/92) Response: Mother, help me to trust in the new path to the new life you are offering me. Our Lady: I love you and that is why I am with you, in order to teach you and to lead you to a new life of conversion and renunciation. (11/25/92) Response: Mother, teach me how to convert and to renounce all that keeps me from a new life. Our Lady: I call you, little children, to open your hearts to God the Creator for Him to transform and mold you in His image, so that all the good which has fallen asleep in your hearts may awaken to a new life and a longing towards eternity. (02/25/2010) Response: Mother, help me say “yes” to the Father so that He can wake up my sleeping heart to a new life in His image. Our Lady: You are precious and I call you, little children, to holiness, to eternal life. Therefore, be aware that this life is passing. I love you and call you to a new life of conversion (05/25/2014) Response: Mother, help me feel your love for me, that I am precious and called, so that I will choose to follow you into a new life. Our Lady: “Dear children! In this time of grace, I am calling all of you to open your hearts to God’s mercy, to begin a new life through prayer, penance and a decision for holiness. This time of spring moves you to a new life, to a renewal, in your thoughts and hearts. Therefore, little children, I am with you to help you to say ‘yes’ to God and to God’s commandments with resoluteness. You are not alone; I am with you through the grace which the Most High gives me for you and your descendants. Thank you for having responded to my call.” (03/25/2017) Response: Holy Mother, help me to say “yes” to God with resoluteness, and be renewed. Our Lady: “Dear children! I am calling you to be with me in prayer in this time of grace when darkness is fighting against the light. Pray, little children, confess and begin a new life in grace. Decide for God and He will lead you towards holiness; and the cross will be a sign of victory and hope for you. Be proud that you are baptized and grateful in your heart that you are a part of God’s plan. Thank you for having responded to my call.” (03/25/2018) Response: Dear Mother, thank you for calling me to be with you in prayer in this time of grace…help me accept God’s grace!! Our Lady: You have a great grace of being called to a new life through the messages which I am giving you. This, little children, is a time of grace, a time and a call to conversion for you and the future generations. (10/25/18) Response: Thank you, Mother, for bringing this great grace of conversion to us. May we respond to your call. Our Lady: “Dear children! Today, I am calling you to a new life. It is not important how old you are, open your heart to Jesus who will transform you in this time of grace and, like nature, you will be born into a new life in God’s love, and you will open your heart to Heaven and the things of Heaven. I am still with you, because God permitted me out of love for you. Thank you for having responded to my call.” (02/25/2019) Response: Thank you, Mother, for calling me to a new life. Thank you, dearest Lord, for permitting Mary to be with us! Our Lady: Do not resist hope and peace. Along with your prayer and fasting, by His cross, my Son will cast away the darkness that wants to surround you and come to rule over you. He will give you the strength for a new life. (03/02/2013) Response: Mother, help me not to resist hope and peace, to be humble, to pray and fast for the strength of a new life. Our Lady: Today I am calling you to live your new life with Jesus. May the Risen One give you strength to always be strong in the trials of life and to be faithful and persevering in prayer; because Jesus saved you by His wounds and by His Resurrection gave you new life. (04/25/2018) Response: Thank you, Jesus for giving me a new life by your Cross and Resurrection. I say Yes to You!

May 21, 2020 Reflection – “Your home is in Heaven!”

(c) Mary TV 2020 May 21, 2020 The Ascension of the Lord Dear Family of Mary! On this day we celebrate that incredible moment when Jesus ascended into Heaven! He had spent 40 days with the Apostles, confirming them in the truth of His Resurrection and commissioning them as His Apostles. But the time had come for Jesus to ascend into Heaven. He did it in plain sight, for all his disciples to see. It is for us a basic truth of our faith, something we declare that we believe whenever we pray the Creed. Jesus ascended to the Father, into heaven!! And it is for us a hope for our future. One day we will follow Him to our eternal homeland, body and soul, just like Him. Here is the account from Acts Chapter 1: So when they had come together, they asked him, “Lord, will you at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?” He said to them, “It is not for you to know times or seasons which the Father has fixed by his own authority. But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Sama’ria and to the end of the earth.” And when he had said this, as they were looking on, he was lifted up, and a cloud took him out of their sight. And while they were gazing into heaven as he went, behold, two men stood by them in white robes, and said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into heaven? This Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will come in the same way as you saw him go into heaven.” (Acts 1:6-11) We need to stay in touch with this incredible truth. Jesus ascended into Heaven. We will one day join Him. And Heaven needs to be our goal, our destiny, our hope and our heartfelt desire. Without this hope, we will not have the courage to persevere. Heaven is our home. We are on our way. Jesus has provided the way and Mary is with us now to help us on the journey. Here are five of Our Lady’s messages in which she points us to heaven, and to Jesus. We might pray the Glorious Mysteries of the Rosary today, and read a message before each decade, to help us keep our focus on Heaven and our future! November 27, 1986 “Dear children! Again, today I call you to consecrate your life to me with love, so I am able to guide you with love. I love you, dear children, with a special love and I desire to bring you all to Heaven unto God. I want you to realize that this life lasts briefly compared to the one in Heaven. Therefore, dear children, decide again today for God. Only that way will I be able to show how much you are dear to me and how much I desire all to be saved and to be with me in Heaven. Thank you for having responded to my call.” May 25, 1987 “Dear children! I am calling every one of you to start living in God’s love. Dear children, you are ready to commit sin, and to put yourselves in the hand of satan without reflecting. I call on each one of you to consciously decide for God and against satan. I am your Mother and, therefore, I want to lead you all to perfect holiness. I want each one of you to be happy here on earth and to be with me in Heaven. That is, dear children, the purpose of my coming here and it’s my desire. Thank you for having responded to my call.” August 25, 1998 “Dear children! Today I invite you to come still closer to me through prayer. Little children, I am your mother, I love you and I desire that each of you be saved and thus be with me in Heaven. That is why, little children, pray, pray, pray until your life becomes prayer… Thank you for having responded to my call.” July 25, 2000 “Dear children! Do not forget that you are here on earth on the way to eternity and that your home is in Heaven. That is why, little children, be open to God’s love and leave egoism and sin. May your joy be only in discovering God in daily prayer. That is why, make good use of this time and pray, pray, pray; and God is near to you in prayer and through prayer. Thank you for having responded to my call.” May 25, 2018 “Dear children! In this peaceless time, I am calling you to have more trust in God who is your Father in Heaven and who has sent me to lead you to Him. You, open your hearts to the gifts which He desires to give you and, in the silence of your heart, Adore my Son Jesus who has given His life so that you may live in eternity – where He desires to lead you. May your hope be the joy of a meeting with the Most High in everyday life. Therefore, I am calling you: do not neglect prayer because prayer works miracles. Thank you for having responded to my call.” In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Cathy Nolan ©Mary TV 2020

May 20, 2020 Reflection – Who is your mother?

(c) Mary TV 2020 May 20, 2020 St. Bernardine of Sienna Dear Family of Mary! Mother Mary is with us. She is with us in Medjugorje, accompanying us on our way to heaven. As we continue to prepare for Pentecost, let’s listen to another message she has given us with her guidance for this time of battle for the Kingdom of God: August 25, 2000 “Dear children! I desire to share my joy with you. In my Immaculate Heart I feel that there are many of those who have drawn closer to me and are, in a special way, carrying the victory of my Immaculate Heart in their hearts by praying and converting. I desire to thank you and to inspire you to work even more for God and His kingdom with love and the power of the Holy Spirit. I am with you and I bless you with my motherly blessing. Thank you for having responded to my call.” Our Mother was excited to see that many of her children had drawn closer to her. Through prayer and conversion, her children were able to carry her victory in their hearts, the victory of her Immaculate Heart. This is very important. The victory of Our Lady’s Immaculate Heart is a victory over our terrible enemy, Satan. Her victory is bringing many souls into the Kingdom of God. It is the final battle for souls. Mario Mijatovic (Vicka’s husband!) shared about the importance of Mother Mary in his interview with Rosie in “Tea with Rosie”, episode 290. He spoke with such conviction! It was his personal experience that he spoke about. (I highly recommend that you watch this interview on our website, www.marytv.tv  because seeing Mario speak communicates much more than the words he spoke alone could communicate. He is filled with the Holy Spirit!) Mario shared with Rosie: Mario: Mother Mary, Mother Mary is calling us to have patience, which is a beautiful way to stay close to Her. We must stay close to Mother, not with our lips, not with our words – but with our heart. You know, with our heart. Speaking with Her about all your problems. Speak with Her, talk to Mother. Tell her everything. Ask Mother – she is doing something for us, she is sending her Son Jesus. Mother is doing this for us. This is most important. Because, when I speak today with my Mother, with Mother Mary, when I tell Her everything that is here [he points to his heart], then tomorrow somebody may ask me, “Who is your Mother?” I can tell him, “My Mother is the same mother – the Mother of Jesus Christ, Mother Mary.” Well, after this the man may ask me, “What did you speak about with Mother Mary today?” Then I can tell him, “I spoke this, this, this.” But when you speak to another person, and you ask him, “What did you speak about with Mother Mary? What did Mother Mary tell you today?” That person might frown like this… (frowning). Now, many people say this: “Mother Mary is my mother.” Excuse me? Who is this mother when you don’t speak with her? Who is your mother – (that you don’t speak with her)? This is important. Mother Mary is safe for us. A sure way for us. Mother Mary brings us to her Son Jesus. You know, this is important. Because when I go to find Jesus without Mary, I am not sure which Jesus I will find. Maybe some can find Jesus. But I find Him with Mother. I want to tell you all, this is most important, to stay close to the Mother Mary. Rosie: And She will guide you to Jesus. Mario: Mother Mary of Nazareth! Not Mother Mary of Medjugorje, of Lourdes, of Fatima…but of Nazareth! This same Mother Mary of Nazareth has been to Lourdes, has been to Fatima, is here for us [in Medjugorje]! Mario knows the Mother! He wants us all to understand that we need to be her children. We need to speak to her every day from our hearts, sharing everything with her, simply, like children. And we need to listen for her words, her guidance. This is how we will grow in holiness. This is how we will be ready for the coming of the Holy Spirit. This is how we will help her heart to triumph!! Be her children, truly her children. Thank you, Mario, for your witness. It brings us closer to our Mother, the Mother, Mary, our Mother. We pray together to the Holy Spirit: Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of Thy faithful and enkindle in them the fire of Thy love. Cathy Nolan (c)Mary TV 2020
