May 4, 2020 – Message from Our Lady of Medjugorje through Ivan Dragicevic

Dear children, this is a time of gratitude.  Today I ask love from you. Don’t look for faults in others and don’t judge others.  I expect you to love and to spread the truth because the truth is eternal, constant and always up to date.  Bring the light of my Son.  Drive out the darkness that wants to seize you more and take you far away from my Son, Jesus. Don’t worry, I am with you.  Thank you for responding to my call. (May 4, 2020)

(c) Mary TV 2020 Be carriers of the light of my Son!! May 7, 2020 Dear Family of Mary! Our Lady gave a message on May 4, 2020 through Ivan Dragicevic! This is a special grace for us in these days… Dear children, this is a time of thanksgiving. Today, I am looking for love from you.  Do not look for imperfections in others and do not judge others. I want you to love and that you transmit the truth, because truth is eternal, unchangeable and always genuine. Be the carriers of the light of my Son and break the dark which wants to take you over and take you far away from my Son.  Do not have fear. I am with you.  Thank you for having responded to my call. (May 4, 2020, Ivan) Thank you dearest Mother, for your guidance in these days. We are grateful for your presence! In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Cathy Nolan © Mary TV 2020 PS. Let’s remember to pray this short but powerful prayer to the Holy Spirit: Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of Thy faithful and enkindle in them the fire of Thy love. V. Send forth Thy Spirit and we shall be created. R. And Thou shalt renew the face of the earth. Let us pray. O God, Who by the light of the Holy Spirit didst instruct the hearts of thy faithful, grant by the same Spirit that we will be truly wise, and ever to rejoice in His consolation. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.

May 6, 2020 Reflection – Be a reflection of God’s love…

(c) Mary TV 2020 Be a reflection of God’s love… May 6, 2020 Dear Family of Mary! “…Be a reflection of God’s love and witness the Risen Jesus by your lives…” (April 25, 2020) What does it mean to be a reflection of someone or something? How can we be a reflection of God’s love? We aren’t mirrors. We don’t just throw back at God His own image. At least not physically. But what about our souls? What about our actions? What about our words and feelings? In a dictionary I did find this explanation of “being a reflection of”: “to match or express the qualities, features, or feelings of someone or something.” I think this captures the idea of being a reflection of God’s love. We can match or express God’s love in our relationships. We can show the feelings and qualities of God’s love, which are feelings of deep empathy, self-sacrifice, kindness, concern, responsibility for, and delight in the other. God is love at it’s purest and deepest level. God is love. Love is God. To reflect God’s love is to reflect God. To be a reflection of God’s love is to be an agent of His love, to carry it in our hearts and express it at every moment in the form of acts and words and prayers. Our lives can become carriers of the qualities, features and feelings of God. Mother Church has collected many stories for us that show us how to be a reflection of God’s love. The Lives of the Saints!! These brothers and sisters grew in their union with God to such an extent that they became reflections of God’s love. Each reflection is unique because each saint is a unique person. Their lives show in infinite variation, the great love of God, the power of that love, the joy of that love. No two saints are identical and their lives are not identical. Yet all of them are the reflection of God’s love. And now we are being made into reflections of God’s love, so that our unique manifestation of God’s love will complete the tapestry of Heaven. We are called!! We are called to become reflections of God’s love. Our Lady once told us: June 5, 1986 “Dear children! Today I am calling on you to decide whether or not you wish to live the messages which I am giving you. I wish you to be active in living and spreading the messages. Especially, dear children, I wish that you all be the reflection of Jesus, which will enlighten this unfaithful world walking in darkness. I wish all of you to be the light for everyone and that you give witness in the light. Dear children, you are not called to the darkness, but you are called to the light. Therefore, live the light with your own life. Thank you for having responded to my call.” May we become witnesses of the light and reflections of the love of God! In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Cathy Nolan ©Mary TV 2020 PS. Don’t forget our short but powerful prayer to the Holy Spirit: Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of Thy faithful and enkindle in them the fire of Thy love. Amen.

May 5, 2020 Reflection – St. Padre Pio, Pray for Us!

(c) Mary TV 2020 Take up your cross and follow me! May 5, 2020 Dear Family of Mary! “…Little children do not permit trials to harden your heart and for prayer to be like a desert…” (April 25, 2020) Our Lady knows that if we are afraid of trials and suffering and our faith is weak, we will close our hearts to her Son. And with closed hearts, our prayer becomes superficial and empty, barren like a desert. A closed heart says ‘no’ to God, ‘no’ to trust in God, ‘no’ to self-sacrifice and ‘no’ to love. Fear is most powerful in closing our hearts. We are afraid to suffer. We want to run. It is a normal reaction, but not a Godly one. I want to share something written about Padre Pio, and his response to suffering. I know he is an extreme example of one who is willing to sacrifice for God and for others. But the description is very helpful for us in examining our consciences about fear and hard-heartedness. It is written by Fr. Pietro Tartaglia, a Capuchin priest who lived with Padre Pio and knew him well. He wrote a book about Padre Pio and the mysteries of the Rosary which is very beautiful. Fr. Pietro is writing here about the Carrying of the Cross, and how Jesus (and Padre Pio) embraced the Cross with such great love for us. Here is the excerpt: “So they took Jesus, and he went out, bearing his own cross, to the place called the place of a skull, which is called in Hebrew, Golgotha” (Jn 19:17). “Whoever wishes to be with me, let him take up his cross and follow me!”. And so, the way of the cross begins. The life of Christians fits into and is illuminated by this painful road. What is the importance in discussing the form of the cross carried by Jesus? The discussion leaves the heart arid and cold. But the “Cross” has become a real sign; the living sign and sincere expression of all human suffering which wounds the bodies of men and saddens their spirits. The cross carried by Christ as a sacrament of freedom and redemption, can be gathered with generosity, and become the precious stairway of ascent along the way of perfection. It radiates vivid light; it gives strength and courage; or it can be accepted with a cry of contempt, rancor, desperation, and thus become a weight that crushes, demoralizes, oppresses and closes the heart of man to all possibility of salvation. Jesus spoke of two pathways: One is ‘narrow,’ stony, difficult and exhausting, but it leads to salvation. The other is ‘wide’ and it facilitates man’s journey and makes his steps smooth, but this path finds its outlet, as a rule, in ruin and eternal perdition. Padre Pio of Pietrelcina chose his path! “You must fight against him,” a mysterious personage had told him. The enemy against whom he fought was the devil. Padre Pio accepted the difficult struggle without pause or rest! “Choose your path!”. Padre Pio replied: “I want to be a friar with a beard!” He dressed in a humble habit; girded his cord with the rosary and, on his bare feet, he wore sandals. He wanted to be a Capuchin Friar; an authentic witness of simplicity, austerity, prayer and poverty, in order to teach the world “the royal path which leads to God.” “Choose your path!” And he chose, as a privileged gift, SUFFERING, without any reservation or limit. He asked Jesus to unite him to His martyrdom, to His mission, as a “Redeemer” of the world; to cancel the sins of the world; to bring once again into the midst of men, the freedom and liberty of sons of God. The way of the cross was his favorite path. He took the cross from the shoulders of Christ and gathered it onto his own, thus becoming “Everybody’s Cyrenean,” substituting others in an essential and demanding task. On the Cross of Christ with the tremendous weight of the sins of men, in everybody’s name, he carried that weight at all times: Every hour, every day for more than fifty years; a living visible crucifix, in order to relieve the pains of Christ for the redemption and salvation of all his brothers and sisters. (Fr. Pietro Tartaglia. The Mysteries of the Rosary and Padre Pio. Our Lady of Grace Capuchin Friary, 1994 p. 72-73) Padre Pio did not have a hard heart. His prayer was anything but a barren desert. He suffered, yes. So much! But he did it out of love for Jesus and for you and me. And in that love, his heart held heaven and his prayer was divine praise. Our Lady wants us to find our way to the narrow path that leads to heaven, and to choose the way of love which makes our prayer a joy! Padre Pio, pray for us! In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! May 4, 2020 Reflection – Come Holy Spirit!

(c) Mary TV 2014 Come Holy Spirit!! May 4, 2020 Dear Family of Mary, “Dear children! May this time be an incentive for personal conversion for you. Pray, little children, in solitude to the Holy Spirit to strengthen you in faith and trust in God, that you may be worthy witnesses of the love which God bestows upon you through my presence. Little children do not permit trials to harden your heart and for prayer to be like a desert. Be a reflection of God’s love and witness the Risen Jesus by your lives. I am with you and I love all of you with my motherly love. Thank you for having responded to my call.” (April 25, 2020) “Pray, little children, in solitude to the Holy Spirit to strengthen you in faith and trust in God, that you may be worthy witnesses of the love which God bestows upon you through my presence…” We are four weeks away from Pentecost, when we celebrate the initial outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles in the Upper Room. (Read Acts 1 and 2) The eleven were together in that room, in solitude, hidden away and in the school of prayer with Our Lady. They had just witnessed Jesus’ Ascension into Heaven and felt His absence keenly. But they were obediently waiting, together in solitude, as Jesus had instructed them. Yet they were not left without help. Our Lady was with them. She was there, praying with them, and no doubt teaching them to pray. God had provided for them, by giving them Our Lady as their teacher, guide and intercessor. Our Lady was instructing them in prayer with the heart, for sure. Showing them how to wait for the Holy Spirit, just as she waited for Him as a young girl in Nazareth. Mary’s presence must have brought down the love of God in a powerful way. Her presence is that love. Well, on the day of Pentecost, as they were praying in that Upper Room the Holy Spirit rushed upon them all! And they began to speak in tongues! And then they went out into Jerusalem and announced the Good News of the Resurrection of Jesus and the Kingdom of God that had come into their midst. This proclamation of the Gospel was truly a witness of the love which God bestowed upon the Apostles. It was such a powerful love that they lost all fear, and went out to speak with authority about Jesus, the Lord. And we might add, it was through Mary’s presence there that this great outpouring happened. She brought the Church to birth in that moment, by calling down the Holy Spirit through her Queenly presence. And so, it is no small thing that Mary is with us in this day, in order to call down the love of God upon us, through her presence with us. We are being given a new Pentecost, individually, through Mary’s motherly presence, so that we can witness!! We must witness that love to the whole world, so in need of healing in God’s love. I propose that we spend the next four weeks in deep prayer for the coming of the Holy Spirit. We definitely need an outpouring of the Spirit upon us!! We are called to be witnesses of the great love of God which has been bestowed upon us through Mary’s presence in Medjugorje! We can begin by praying this prayer to the Holy Spirit every day, even several times throughout the day: Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of thy faithful and enkindle in them the fire of Thy Love. V. Send forth Thy Spirit and they shall be created. R. And Thou shalt renew the face of the earth. Let us pray.  O God, who didst instruct the hearts of the faithful by the light of the Holy Spirit, grant us in the same Spirit to be truly wise, and ever to rejoice in His consolation.  Through Christ our Lord. Amen. We can ask Our Lady to pray with us, as she did in the Upper Room, and the power of our prayer will be greatly increased!! In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Cathy Nolan ©Mary TV 2020

May 1, 2020 Reflection – Help us, St. Joseph!

St. Joseph’s protective presence with Mary and little Jesus Bronze relief on Apparition Hill by Professor Carmelo Puzzolo May 1, 2020 St. Joseph the Worker Dear Family of Mary! Today is the Optional Memorial of St. Joseph the Worker. St. Joseph is Our Lady’s silent partner! His gentle, protective and holy presence in the earthly life of Jesus speaks volumes to us, even though he never spoke a word in the Scriptures. St. Joseph was there for Jesus and Mary. He chose to be their protector and provider, the one who would stand as a shield for them from the enemy and all who might harm them. We can feel his protection so clearly present in the infancy narratives. It makes us give a sigh of relief. St. Joseph was there. He is also here for us. Though we may not hear from him directly, we instinctively know to go to him for help, especially in practical matters. And especially when we need virtues and strengths we haven’t developed yet. And so today, let’s pray to St. Joseph for all those things we lack, especially in the area of virtue. Our Lady has urged us to take the saints as our models and teachers. Certainly, she has St. Joseph in mind! She told us: October 25, 2004 “Dear children! This is a time of grace for the family and, therefore, I call you to renew prayer. May Jesus be in the heart of your family. In prayer, learn to love everything that is holy. Imitate the lives of saints so that they may be an incentive and teachers on the way of holiness. May every family become a witness of love in this world without prayer and peace. Thank you for having responded to my call.” Let us pray to St. Joseph today for all that we need, especially for holiness in our families!! Litany of St. Joseph Lord, have mercy on us. Christ, have mercy on us. Lord, have mercy on us. Christ, hear us. Christ, graciously hear us. God the Father of Heaven, have mercy on us. God the Son, Redeemer of the world, have mercy on us. God, the Holy Spirit, have mercy on us. Holy Trinity, One God, have mercy on us. Holy Mary, pray for us. Saint Joseph, pray for us Illustrious Scion of David, Light of Patriarchs, Spouse of the Mother of God, Chaste guardian of the Virgin, Foster-father of the Son of God, Watchful defender of Christ, Head of the Holy Family, Joseph most just, Joseph most chaste, Joseph most prudent, Joseph most valiant, Joseph most obedient, Joseph most faithful, Mirror of patience, Lover of poverty, Model of workmen, Example to parents, Guardian of virgins, Pillar of families, Solace of the afflicted, Hope of the sick, Patron of the dying, Terror of demons, Protector of the Church, pray for us. Lamb of God, who take away the sins of the world, spare us, O Lord. Lamb of God, who take away the sins of the world, graciously hear us, O Lord. Lamb of God, who take away the sins of the world, have mercy on us. V. He made him lord over his house, R. And the ruler of all his possessions. Let us pray. Lord  Jesus Christ, by your ineffable providence you chose saint Joseph to be the spouse of your most holy Mother: grant, we beseech you, that we may have him for an intercessor in heaven, as we venerate him as our protector on earth. You who live and reign forever and ever. R. Amen. Here is another beautiful prayer to St. Joseph: To you, O Blessed Joseph, we come in our trials, and having asked the help of your most holy spouse, we confidently ask your patronage also. Through that sacred bond of charity which united you to the Immaculate Virgin Mother of God and through the fatherly love with which you embraced the Child Jesus, we humbly beg you to look graciously upon the beloved inheritance which Jesus Christ purchased by his blood, and to aid us in our necessities with your power and strength. O most provident guardian of the Holy Family, defend the chosen children of Jesus Christ. Most beloved father, dispel the evil of falsehood and sin. Our most mighty Protector, graciously assist us from heaven in our struggle with the powers of darkness. And just as you once saved the Child Jesus from mortal danger, so now defend God’s Holy Church from the snares of her enemies and from all adversity. Shield each one of us by your constant protection, so that, supported by your example and your help, we may be able to live a virtuous life, to die a holy death, and to obtain eternal happiness in heaven. Amen. In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Cathy Nolan ©Mary TV 2020

April 30, 2020 Reflection – Come Holy Spirit and strengthen us!

(c)Mary TV 2020 April 30, 2020 St. Pius V, Pope Dear Family of Mary! “Dear children! May this time be an incentive for personal conversion for you. Pray, little children, in solitude to the Holy Spirit to strengthen you in faith and trust in God, that you may be worthy witnesses of the love which God bestows upon you through my presence. Little children, do not permit trials to harden your heart and for prayer to be like a desert. Be a reflection of God’s love and witness the Risen Jesus by your lives. I am with you and I love all of you with my motherly love. Thank you for having responded to my call.” (April 25, 2020) “Pray, little children, in solitude to the Holy Spirit to strengthen you in faith and trust in God…” Our Lady counsels us to go into solitude and pray to the Holy Spirit. Though it may help to go to our room, or find a quiet spot out of doors, the greatest solitude can be found within. Our hearts are our inner chamber where only we can go. It is there that we find silence and a sense of our personal space. And it is there that we can encounter our God in safety and honesty and peace. So, we can see why Our Lady would want us to find that place when we go to pray to the Holy Spirit. What does she want us to receive? Stronger faith and stronger trust in God. These two things we need if we are going to be able to withstand the trials to come. We need to be absolutely sure of God, sure that He exists and that He is with us, sure that He loves us and that He will never abandon us. We need to be filled with trust in His power to save us and to deliver us from all evil. Rock solid must be our faith. Our hearts need to be firm. And so, today let’s again pray to the Holy Spirit in our inner solitude, our inner chamber where only God can come. Let’s ask the Holy Spirit to strengthen our faith and our trust in God… Veni Creator Come, O Creator Spirit blest! And in our souls take up Thy rest; Come with Thy grace and heavenly aid, To fill the hearts which Thou hast made. Great Paraclete! To Thee we cry, O highest gift of God most high! O font of life! O fire of love! And sweet anointing from above. Thou in Thy sevenfold gifts art known, The finger of God’s hand we own; The promise of the Father, Thou! Who dost the tongue with power endow. Kindle our senses from above, And make our hearts overflow with love; With patience firm and virtue high The weakness of our flesh supply. Far from us drive the foe we dread, And grant us Thy true peace instead; So shall we not, with Thee for guide, Turn from the path of life aside. Oh, may Thy grace on us bestow The Father and the Son to know, And Thee, through endless times confessed, Of both, the eternal Spirit blest. All glory while the ages run Be to the Father and the Son Who rose from death; the same to Thee, O Holy Ghost, eternally. Amen. Litany of Trust – written by The Sisters of Life (This litany addresses Jesus, but in it we ask for the healing we need to have stronger faith and trust. The Holy Spirit will listen in!!!) From the belief that I have to earn Your love … Deliver me, Jesus. From the fear that I am unlovable … Deliver me, Jesus. From the false security that I have what it takes … Deliver me, Jesus. From the fear that trusting You will leave me more destitute … Deliver me, Jesus. From all suspicion of Your words and promises … Deliver me, Jesus. From the rebellion against childlike dependency on You … Deliver me, Jesus. From refusals and reluctances in accepting Your will … Deliver me, Jesus. From anxiety about the future … Deliver me, Jesus. From resentment or excessive preoccupation with the past … Deliver me, Jesus. From restless self-seeking in the present moment … Deliver me, Jesus. From disbelief in Your love and presence … Deliver me, Jesus. From the fear of being asked to give more than I have … Deliver me, Jesus. From the belief that my life has no meaning or worth … Deliver me, Jesus. From the fear of what love demands … Deliver me, Jesus. From discouragement … Deliver me, Jesus. That You are continually holding me, sustaining me, loving me … Jesus, I trust in you. That Your love goes deeper than my sins and failings, and transforms me …Jesus, I trust in you. That not knowing what tomorrow brings is an invitation to lean on You … Jesus, I trust in you. That You are with me in my suffering … Jesus, I trust in you. That my suffering, united to Your own, will bear fruit in this life and the next …Jesus, I trust in you. That You will not leave me orphan, that You are present in Your Church…Jesus, I trust in you. That Your plan is better than anything else … Jesus, I trust in you. That You always hear me, and in Your goodness always respond to me …Jesus, I trust in you. That You give me the grace to accept forgiveness and to forgive others …Jesus, I trust in you. That You give me all the strength I need for what is asked …Jesus, I trust in you. That my life is a gift … Jesus, I trust in you. That You will teach me to trust You … Jesus, I trust in you. That You are my Lord and my God … Jesus, I trust in you. That I am Your beloved one … Jesus, I trust in you. Amen. Come Holy Spirit and change us!! Come Lord Jesus and heal us!! Come Almighty Father and embrace us! We give ourselves completely to you, O Blessed Trinity! We love you! In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Cathy Nolan ©Mary TV 2020

April 28, 2020 Update from Denis – Because we are chosen!

April 28, 2020 Feast Day of Saint Louis de Montfort Dear Mary TV Shipmates, Today is the Feast Day of St. Louis de Montfort.  St. Louis loved Our Lady and grew to understand the importance of her role in salvation history. He believed that in the last days, Our Lady would be raised up by God to bring in the return of Christ. He wrote the book, “True Devotion to Mary” to share his prophetic insight into Our Lady’s role. I believe that we are now in that time, the age of Mary, in which she has come to crush the head of Satan. In his 1987 encyclical Redemptoris Mater, St. John Paul ll asked everyone to read St. Louis de Montfort’s book, “True Devotion to Mary”, in order to understand the importance of Mary in this age.  Twice he made that request!  The book had been instrumental in giving St. John Paul ll, the “Spark from Poland” sent to prepare the world for Jesus final coming, his own relationship with Mary! I remember the day my wife started re-reading it.  It was June 1, 2012.  Cathy shook the book at me in frustration: “Who are these Predestinate?!!”   St. Louis de Montfort had written in “True Devotion to Mary” that they would be the greatest saints in the history of the Church!  Back to St. Peter, the saints in heaven would look with awe at who got to be alive in that day, who along with Mary and under her mantle would crush the head of Satan! The next day we discovered that Our Lady was telling us who the predestinate are…It’s us!  The apostles of Our Lady of Medjugorje.  Simply because we are chosen!  Listen to her words to us in this important message: “Dear children, I am continuously among you because, with my endless love, I desire to show you the door of Heaven. I desire to tell you how it is opened: through goodness, mercy, love and peace – through my Son. Therefore, my children, do not waste time on vanities. Only knowledge of the love of my Son can save you. Through that salvific love and the Holy Spirit, He chose me and I, together with Him, am choosing you to be apostles of His love and will. My children, great is the responsibility upon you. I desire that by your example you help sinners regain their sight, enrich their poor souls and bring them back into my embrace. Therefore, pray, pray, fast and confess regularly. If receiving my Son in the Eucharist is the center of your life then do not be afraid, you can do everything. I am with you. Every day I pray for the shepherds and I expect the same of you. Because, my children, without their guidance and strengthening through their blessing, you cannot do it. Thank you.” (06/02/2012) Here is another message in which she explained our role in her plan: “God has chosen each one of you in order to use you for the great plan of salvation of mankind. You cannot comprehend how great your role is in God’s plan.  Pray, dear children, so that through prayer you can comprehend God’s plan through you.  I am with you so that you can realize it completely!” (01/ 25/ 1987) Knowing how important Our Lady’s presence in Medjugorje is, and how we have been called to be her apostles, I want to share with you a fruit of our response together to Our Lady’s call. For many years you have been supporting Mary TV, with your prayers and donations, as we attempted to build a studio and purchase expensive equipment that could stream on the internet, in high definition, the events in Medjugorje. You have helped us develop our very intricate streaming system, and to hire and train wonderful technicians to run the studio. And just when we had set everything up something happened!   The world was locked down due to the corona virus pandemic. Due to the pandemic, Medjugorje found itself without pilgrims all spring.  But because of your support, Mary TV was ready to bring Medjugorje to the pilgrims, in a dramatic and beautiful way. We were able to continue our programing, and we were in place to help the parish of Medjugorje capture and stream the Masses and Rosaries, the Adoration and Healing Prayer from the Church to several internet outlets. And with our help, the parish just announced that the number of people connected with Medjugorje in prayer has never been greater! They announced: “On TV the evening program of prayer from Medjugorje’s church, St. James, through Live Stream service was broadcast and followed by 3,877,377 individual IP addresses – the exact number of faithful is very hard to be estimated.” How happy we are to help St. James Parish reach pilgrims from around the world!! Our Lady must also be grateful.  Every time I made an appeal in order to upgrade and advance technology you responded!  And so, we were in place just in time to help the parish.  (It’s Mary TV’s camera in the Church that has been filming the Masses and evening programs of prayer.  And Mary TV’s advanced communication technologies are sending the parish’s stream to their YouTube and Facebook pages.) You might note again that in my March 9th Update I mention that people in thousands of cities throughout the world are connected to Medjugorje through Mary TV:   https://marytv.tv/march-9-2020-update-from-denis-meeting-todays-challenges/ And Mary TV’s Internet Medjugorje TV channel continues airing in High Definition – 24/7 – on our website, and is also available on Amazon Firestick, Roku and Apple TV. We’re able to continue giving this gift to Our Lady because we’re working together….  Thank you for helping us be ready when we were most needed! God bless you! April 29, 2020 Reflection – Pray to the Holy Spirit!

(c)Mary TV 2020 April 29, 2020 St. Catherine of Siena, Virgin, Doctor of the Church Dear Family of Mary! Thank you for having responded to my call.” (April 25, 2020) “Pray, little children, in solitude to the Holy Spirit…” Let’s do exactly as Our Lady counsels us. Let’s find a spot where we are alone, in quiet, without distraction, and pray to the Holy Spirit. He is the Gift from the Father and the Son. He is the power of God, lavished upon us at Baptism and through all the Sacraments, bringing us into the Heart of the Trinity. We will do well to pray in solitude, slowly and with open hearts to our dear Holy Spirit! Here is a prayer to the Holy Spirit by St. Catherine of Siena whose feast day is today: Holy Spirit, come into my heart; draw it to Thee by Thy power, O my God, and grant me charity with filial fear. Preserve me, O ineffable Love, from every evil thought; warm me, inflame me with Thy dear love, and every pain will seem light to me. My Father, my sweet Lord, help me in all my actions. Jesus, love, Jesus, love. Amen. And now a litany that we can savor in our solitude!! Litany to the Holy Spirit Lord, have mercy on us. Lord, have mercy on us. Christ, have mercy on us. April 28, 2020 Reflection – St. Louis de Montfort, pray for us!

(c)Mary TV 2020 April 28, 2020 St. Peter Chanel St. Louis Marie Grignion de Montfort Dear Family of Mary! Today is a special feast day, the memorial of St. Louis Marie Grignion de Montfort. St. Louis was born in 1673, and became a Dominican priest who loved the poor, lived humbly and had a great devotion to Our Lady. He wrote “True Devotion to Mary” in which he shared his understanding of Our Lady’s role in the latter days, but it was not published before his death. It was found many years later, in 1842 and after much study, was published in 1853. He understood in a prophetic way the role that Our Lady would play in the last days. He was certain she was indispensable to the return of Jesus Christ. He wrote “True Devotion to Mary” to explain Mary’s role in the coming of Christ. One of the things that he said was that Mary would become present to souls, who would become united to her in love. These souls would glorify God in the last days. Here is an excerpt from “True Devotion to Mary” in which he describes those souls who loved Mary: Communication of the spirit of Mary 217. The soul of Mary will be communicated to you to glorify the Lord. Her spirit will take the place of yours to rejoice in God, her Savior, but only if you are faithful to the practices of this devotion. As St. Ambrose says, “May the soul of Mary be in each one of us to glorify the Lord! May the spirit of Mary be in each one of us to rejoice in God!” “When will that happy day come,” asks a saintly man of our own day whose life was completely wrapped up in Mary, “when God’s Mother is enthroned in men’s hearts as Queen, subjecting them to the dominion of her great and princely Son? When will souls breathe Mary as the body breathes air?” When that time comes wonderful things will happen on earth. The Holy Spirit, finding his dear Spouse present again in souls, will come down into them with great power. He will fill them with his gifts, especially wisdom, by which they will produce wonders of grace. My dear friend, when will that happy time come, that age of Mary, when many souls, chosen by Mary and given her by the most High God, will hide themselves completely in the depths of her soul, becoming living copies of her, loving and glorifying Jesus? That day will dawn only when the devotion I teach is understood and put into practice. Ut adveniat regnum tuum, adveniat regnum Mariae: “Lord, that your kingdom may come, may the reign of Mary come!” (N 217 – True Devotion to Mary. St. Louis de Montfort) “When will that happy day come???” I believe that that day has come, in Medjugorje! Our Lady has come to fill us with her soul and spirit, by teaching us how to love her Son and receive the Holy Spirit. In fact, we are being “wrapped up in Mary” just like that saintly man St. Louis described. (I think he was referring to himself!) September 25, 2019 “Dear children! Today I am calling you to pray for my intentions so that I may help you. Little children, pray the Rosary and meditate the mysteries of the Rosary because, in your life, you are also passing through joys and sorrows. In this way, you are transforming the mysteries into your life, because life is a mystery until you place it into God’s hands. In this way, you will have the experience of faith like Peter who met Jesus and the Holy Spirit filled his heart. Little children, you are also called to witness by living the love with which, day by day, God wraps you with my presence. Therefore, little children, be open and pray with the heart in faith. Thank you for having responded to my call.” You see, she tells us what God is doing today: “Little children, you are also called to witness by living the love with which, day by day, God wraps you with my presence.” We are being “wrapped up in Mary”, just as St. Louis described. We are those souls who breathe Mary just as the body breaths air!! This is the age of Mary!! She has come down to us and she has chosen us to be living copies of herself. When St. Louis wrote these words, no one could have imagined Our Lady would actually come to be present in a little village in a remote part of Hercegovina. St. Louis would not have been able to predict such an event. But the fruit is evident now. Many, many souls have encountered Our Lady in Medjugorje, and are now living according to her school, bringing her love and truth to a world so much in need of it. Thank you Sr. Louis de Montfort, for boldly writing these prophetic words, and trusting that even though you would never see them published and spread throughout the Church in your lifetime, they would one day be discovered and published when the time was right. Please pray for us, that in our day we can be faithful to Our Mother and Queen, as you were, and live her messages with trust so that one day in the future, we will bear fruit for the salvation of the world.
