“Harden not your hearts…”   January 16, 2025 Dear Family of Mary! Our first reading at Mass today is from Hebrews 3:7-14. Take these words to heart! “The Holy Spirit says: ‘Oh, that today you would hear his voice, “Harden not your hearts as at the rebellion in the day of testing in the desert, where your ancestors tested and tried me and saw my works for forty years. Because of this, I was provoked with that generation and I said, ‘They have always been of erring heart, and they do not know my ways.” As I swore in my wrath, “They shall not enter into my rest.’” Take care, brothers and sisters, that none of you may have an evil and unfaithful heart, so as to forsake the living God. Encourage yourselves daily while it is still “Today,” so that none of you may grow hardened by the deceit of sin. We have become partner of Christ if only we hold the beginning of the reality firm until the end.” (Hebrews 3:7-14) It is very wise to remain watchful, so that no error might creep into our hearts and lead us far astray. It is so important to keep watch!! We must take care!! Our Lady gave us a very similar warning in this message from 2020: April 25, 2020 “Dear children! May this time be an incentive for personal conversion for you. Pray, little children, in solitude, to the Holy Spirit to strengthen you in faith and trust in God, that you may be worthy witnesses of the love which God bestows upon you through my presence. Little children, do not permit trials to harden your heart and for prayer to be like a desert. Be a reflection of God’s love and witness the Risen Jesus by your lives. I am with you and I love all of you with my motherly love. Thank you for having responded to my call.” Just as it warns us in Hebrews 3, Our Lady calls us to be vigilant of our hearts, that they not become hardened by our trials. Everything that comes into our lives can be transformed by our love for Jesus. We need only to take it all to Him in prayer, and lay it at His feet. He will strengthen us and give us the wisdom to prevail in the good! Mother, please help us to be watchful of our hearts, that as we live in this world and encounter many things that could be difficult for us, we will not allow those difficulties to lead us astray. Help us instead to turn to Jesus, the Healer of our souls! He will turn our sorrows into joy, and our worries into deep faith. Adore Him alone, because He is the only true God.   January 15, 2025 Dear Family of Mary! I want to share this one message with you today! It is particularly meaningful in view of recent events. Let’s prayerfully read this message and let the Holy Spirit speak to our hearts. Please, Mother Mary, help us to understand!!! September 2, 2011  “Dear children; With all my heart and soul full of faith and love in the Heavenly Father, I gave my Son to you and am giving Him to you anew. My Son has brought you, the people of the entire world, to know the only true God and His love. He has led you on the way of truth and made you brothers and sisters. Therefore, my children, do not wander, do not close your heart before that truth, hope and love. Everything around you is passing and everything is falling apart, only the glory of God remains. Therefore, renounce everything that distances you from the Lord. Adore Him alone, because He is the only true God. I am with you and I will remain with you. I am especially praying for the shepherds that they may be worthy representatives of my Son and may lead you with love on the way of truth. Thank you.” In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! I wish to bear you into holiness.   January 14, 2025 Dear Family of Mary! I am learning more and more how central Our Lady is to our salvation in Christ. She is truly our Mother in terms of salvation. She can do so much to help us if we allow her to lead and protect and literally bear us into Heaven. Here is a message in which Our Lady asks us to allow her to bear us into holiness just as she bore Jesus in her womb” March 25, 1990  “Dear children! I am with you even if you are not conscious of it. I want to protect you from everything that Satan offers you and through which he wants to destroy you. As I bore Jesus in my womb, so also, dear children, do I wish to bear you into holiness God wants to save you and sends you messages through men, nature, and so many things which can only help you to understand that you must change the direction of your life. Therefore, little children, understand also the greatness of the gift which God is giving you through me, so that I may protect you with my mantle and lead you to the joy of life. Thank you for having responded to my call.” Mother Mary wants to bear us into holiness! She wants to take us into her protective womb of love, and make us ready to be born into Heaven! She can do this! There is an amazing meditation in the Magnificat for January 2025, which comes from the writing of Saint Quodvultdeus of Carthage. It is on page 193-4 in the Magnificat- January 2025. Here is a small excerpt: “In the Apocalypse of the Apostle John (Rv 12:1-4) it is written that the dragon stood in full view of the woman about to give birth, in order that when she gave birth, he would eat the child born of her. Let none of you ignore the fact that the dragon is the devil; know that the virgin signifies Mary, the chaste one, who gave birth to our chaste Head. She also embodied in herself a figure of the holy Church: namely, how while bearing a son she remained a virgin, so that the Church throughout time bears her members…” Our Lady is the Church, who now can bear us, the members of the Church, into holiness as our true Mother! God has designed it so. He wants us to all have the very same Mother that Jesus has!! And through her maternal care, we will find our way into Heaven, through Jesus Christ our Savior! My children, apostles of my love!   January 13, 2025 St. Hilary Dear Family of Mary! Today is Monday of the First Week in Ordinary Time. The word Ordinary here does not mean that these weeks are just humdrum, usual or not special! It signifies that these days are “numbered”. There are only so many weeks in a year, and the Church needs to carefully manage each day of each week so that we faithful will be blessed and taught! So on this Monday of the 1st week in Ordinary Time we hear from the Gospel of Mark: After John had been arrested, Jesus came to Galilee proclaiming the Gospel of God: “This is the time of fulfillment. The Kingdom of God is at hand. Repent and believe in the Gospel.” (Mk 1:14-15) Jesus came, proclaiming the Gospel of God!! The Kingdom of God is at hand!!! What a shock and joy it must have been to hear these words! Don’t we all long for the Kingdom of God? Don’t we groan in anticipation? And Our Lady came to call us to that very same Kingdom! She told us: Wednesday, March 14, 1984 “Pray and fast so that the Kingdom of God may come among you. Let my Son set you aglow with His fire.” I believe that the Kingdom of God is growing in our midst through Our Lady’s presence and her guidance. We are growing in the fire of Christ’s love and holiness through her care and teaching! In this message, given through Mirjana, Our Lady speaks about the Kingdom and how we can receive it and spread it: December 2, 2019 “Dear children, as I am looking at you who love my Son, my heart is being filled with tenderness. I am blessing you with a motherly blessing. With a motherly blessing, I am also blessing your shepherds – you who speak the words of my Son, who bless with His hands and who love Him so much that you are ready to make every sacrifice for Him with joy. You are following Him, who was the first shepherd, the first missionary. My children, apostles of my love, to live and work for others, for all those whom you love through my Son, is the joy and comfort of earthly life. If through prayer, love and sacrifice the Kingdom of God is in your hearts, then your life is joyful and bright. Among those who love my Son and who love each other through Him, words are not necessary. A gaze is sufficient for the unspoken words and unexpressed feelings to be heard. There where love reigns, time no longer counts. We are with you. My Son knows you and loves you. Love is that which brings you to me, and through that love I will come to you and speak to you of the works of salvation. I desire for all of my children to have faith and to feel my motherly love which leads them to Jesus. Therefore, you, my children, wherever you go, illuminate with love and faith as apostles of love. Thank you.” Our Lady speaks to us all in this message, though she singles out her priests, those she calls “shepherds”, with these beautiful words, “With a motherly blessing, I am also blessing your shepherds – you who speak the words of my Son, who bless with His hands and who love Him so much that you are ready to make every sacrifice for Him with joy. You are following Him, who was the first shepherd, the first missionary.” We are so blessed to have our priests. May we always cherish them and support them! Yet, we are all called to be her apostles, “My children, apostles of my love, to live and work for others, for all those whom you love through my Son, is the joy and comfort of earthly life.” This is the way we build the Kingdom of God that she is announcing in our day! “Little children, open the doors of your hearts to Jesus…”   January 10, 2025 Dear Family of Mary! As we draw close to the end of the Christmas Season, I would like to share with you these Christmas messages given to us by Our Lady through Jakov Colo! As we know, Jakov had daily apparitions from June 25, 1981 to September 12, 1998! Our Lady then promised to appear to him on Christmas day every year. And that is what she has done. And she has given him very beautiful messages each Christmas day. Here are five of those messages. The first one I chose is very long. But it is exceptionally powerful! Let’s take time with these messages this weekend, as we approach the Baptism of the Lord!! December 25, 2020 (Jakov Colo) “Dear children, also today Jesus is here beside you, even when you think that you are alone and that light does not exist in your life. He is here and has never left you or distanced Himself from you. The light of His birth illuminates this world and your life. His Heart is always open towards you, to receive your every pain, every trial, fear and need. His arms are extended towards you, that as a father, He may embrace you and tell you how important you are for Him, how much He loves you and cares for His children. Children, is your heart open towards Jesus? Have you completely surrendered your life into His hands? Have you accepted Jesus as your father, to whom you can always turn and in Him find consolation and everything you need to live true faith? That is why, my children, surrender your hearts to Jesus and permit Him to begin to rule your lives, because only in this way, will you accept the present and be able to face the world in which you live today. With Jesus, every fear, suffering and pain disappear, because your heart accepts His will and everything that comes into your life. Jesus will give you the faith to accept everything and nothing will distance you from Him — because He firmly holds you by the hand and does not permit for you to distance and lose yourselves in difficult moments — because He has become the Lord of your life. I bless you with my motherly blessing.” December 25, 2021 (Jakov Colo) “Dear children, you are, and you are called, ‘children of God’. If only your hearts would feel that immeasurable love which God has for you, your hearts would adore and give thanks to Him at every instant of your life. Therefore, little children, today, on this day of grace, open your hearts and implore the Lord for the gift of faith; so that you could truly become worthy of the name ‘children of God’ who, with a pure heart, give thanks to and honor their Heavenly Father. I am beside you and am blessing you with my motherly blessing.” December 25, 2022 (Jakov Colo) “Today, when the light of Jesus’ birth is illuminating the entire world, in a special way, with Jesus in my arms, I am praying that every heart becomes a stable of Bethlehem, in which my Son will be born, so that your lives become a light of His birth. Little children, you live in peacelessness and fear. That is why, little children, today, on this day of grace, implore Jesus to strengthen your faith and to become the ruler of your lives; because, my children, only with Jesus in your lives will you not be looking at peacelessness but praying for peace and will live in peace; and you will not be looking at fear, but at Jesus Who frees us of all fears. I am your Mother who ceaselessly keeps vigil over you and I am blessing you with my Motherly blessing.” December 25, 2023 (Jakov Colo) “Dear children, today with my Son in my arms, I desire to call all of you to pray to the little Jesus for the healing of your heart. Children, often in your hearts sin rules which destroys your life and you can not feel God’s presence. That is why, on this day of grace, when grace is spreading throughout the whole world, surrender your life and your heart to the Lord, so that the Lord may heal them with His grace. Only with pure hearts will you be able to experience the birth of Jesus anew in you, and the light of His birth will illuminate your life. I bless you with my motherly blessing. Thank you for having responded to my call.” December 25, 2024 (Jakov Colo) “Today, on this day of grace, in a special way I am calling you not to live a life striving for earthly goals and not to seek peace and joy in earthly things, because in this way darkness takes over your life and you do not see the meaning of your life. Little children, open the doors of your hearts to Jesus, permit Him to take over your entire life so that you may begin to live in God’s love and mercy. My children, only with Jesus in your hearts will you come to know the true goal of your life and long for eternal salvation. My presence is a sign of love here…   January 9, 2025 Dear Family of Mary! Two more days of Christmas messages!! I love them!! Let’s ponder them in prayer, and slowly let Our Lady’s words flow into our hearts and minds. We need to think like Mary! We need to pray like Mary! We need to love like Mary!! December 25, 2015 “Dear children! Also today I am carrying my Son Jesus to you and from this embrace I am giving you His peace and a longing for Heaven. I am praying with you for peace and am calling you to be peace… I am blessing all of you with my motherly blessing of peace. Thank you for having responded to my call.” December 25, 2016 “Dear children! With great joy, today I am carrying my Son Jesus to you, for Him to give you His peace. Open your hearts, little children, and be joyful that you can receive it. Heaven is with you and is fighting for peace in your hearts, in the families and in the world; and you, little children, help with your prayers for it to be so. I bless you with my Son Jesus and call you not to lose hope; and for your gaze and heart to always be directed towards Heaven and eternity. In this way, you will be open to God and to His plans. Thank you for having responded to my call.” December 25, 2017 “Dear children! Today I am bringing to you my Son Jesus for Him to give you His peace and blessing. I am calling all of you, little children, to live and witness the graces and the gifts which you have received. Do not be afraid. Pray for the Holy Spirit to give you the strength to be joyful witnesses and people of peace and hope. Thank you for having responded to my call.” December 25, 2018 “Dear children! I am carrying to you my Son Jesus who is the King of Peace. He gives you peace and may it not be only for you but, little children, carry it to others in joy and humility. I am with you and am praying for you in this time of grace which God desires to give you. My presence is a sign of love here while I am with you to protect you and lead you towards eternity. Thank you for having responded to my call..” December 25, 2019 “Dear children! I am carrying my Son Jesus to you, for Him to bless you and reveal to you His love, which comes from Heaven. Your heart yearns for peace, of which there is less and less on earth. That is why people are far from God and souls are sick and heading towards spiritual death. I call you to pray, pray, pray, not with words but with the heart. January 8, 2025 Dear Family of Mary! Again today we have five Christmas messages to feast on. We need to hear these words from Our Lady. We are entering a new year that we will only be able to manage through grace!! Jesus is grace!! December 25, 2000 “Dear children! Today when God granted to me that I can be with you, with little Jesus in my arms, I rejoice with you and I give thanks to God for everything He has done in this Jubilee year. I thank God especially for all the vocations of those who said ‘yes’ to God completely. I bless you all with my blessing and the blessing of the newborn Jesus. I pray for all of you for joy to be born in your hearts so that in joy you too carry the joy I have today. In this Child I bring to you the Savior of your hearts and the One who calls you to the holiness of life. Thank you for having responded to my call.” December 25, 2002 “Dear children! This is a time of great graces, but also a time of great trials for all those who desire to follow the way of peace. Put little newborn Jesus in the first place in your life January 7, 2025 St. Raymond of Penyafort Dear Family of Mary! Today, I have five Christmas messages for us to pray with, one for each decade of the Rosary. Let Our Lady’s words of joy and hope fill your hearts with the truth! Jesus is Born and is Lord of all!! These messages will help us to keep our peace during this turbulent moment in the world: December 25, 1995 “Dear Children! Today I also rejoice with you and I bring you little Jesus, so that He may bless you. I invite you, dear children, so that your life may be united with Him. Jesus is the King of Peace and only He can give you the peace that you seek. I am with you and I present you to Jesus in a special way, now in this new time in which one should decide for Him. Today I am with you in a special way, holding little Jesus in my lap and I invite you, little children, to open yourselves to His call. He calls you to joy. I do not desire for your life to be in sadness but that it be realized in joy for eternity, according to the Gospel. Only in this way will your life have meaning. I desire that each of you reflect and carry peace in your heart and say: I want to put God in the first place in my life… In this way, little children, each of you will become holy. Little children, tell everyone, I want the good for you and he will respond with the good and, little children, good will come to dwell in the heart of each man. Little children, tonight I bring to you the good of my Son who gave His life to save you. That is why, little children, rejoice and extend your hands to Jesus who is only good. In a special way, little children, I give you the blessing of little Jesus. May He fill you with His peace. Today, little children, you do not have peace and yet you yearn for it. That is why, with my Son Jesus, on this day I call you to pray, pray, pray, because without prayer you do not have joy or peace or a future. Yearn for peace and seek it, for God is true peace. Thank you for having responded to my call.” December 25, 1999 “Dear children! This is the time of grace. Little children, today in a special way with little Jesus, whom I hold in my embrace, I am giving you the possibility to decide for peace. Through your ‘yes’ for peace and your decision for God, a new possibility for peace is opened. Only in this way, little children, this century will be for you a time of peace and well-being. Therefore, put little newborn Jesus in the first place in your life and He will lead you on the way of salvation. Thank you for having responded to my call.” This is a moment of intense spiritual warfare. May Our Lady’s messages, her words to us, cover us with the Peace of God and the Strength of the Holy Spirit! May the tenderness of the little Jesus always accompany you.   January 6, 2025 St. Andre Bessette Dear Family of Mary! We are still in the Christmas Season! We can’t walk away from the manger! Jesus is waiting to bless us and console us, with His Mother Mary, and St. Joseph! For this week of reflections, I am going to pick 2 or 3 of Our Lady’s messages throughout the years given on December 25th to share with you each day! In this way, we can spend some time with Our Lady’s words given on Christmas Day, and let them bless us and challenge us! Today we have the Christmas day messages from 1991 and 1992! Remember there was a war going on in Bosnia during that time: December 25, 1991 “Dear children! Today in a special way I bring the little Jesus to you, that He may bless you with His blessing of peace and love. Dear children, do not forget that this is a grace which many people neither understand nor accept. Therefore, you who have said that you are mine, and seek my help, give all of yourself. First of all, give your love and example in your families. You say that Christmas is a family feast. Therefore, dear children, put God in the first place in your families, so that He may give you peace and may protect you not only from war, but also in peace protect you from every satanic attack. When God is with you, you have everything. But when you do not want Him, then you are miserable and lost, and you do not know on whose side you are. Therefore, dear children, decide for God. Then you will get everything. Thank you for having responded to my call.” December 25, 1992 “Dear children! I desire to place all of you under my mantle and protect you from all satanic attacks. Today is a day of peace, but in the whole world there is a great lack of peace. That is why I call you all to build a new world of peace with me through prayer. This I cannot do without you, and this is why I call all of you with my motherly love and God will do the rest. So, open yourselves to God’s plan and to His designs to be able to cooperate with Him for peace and for everything that is good. Do not forget that your life does not belong to you, but is a gift with which you must bring joy to others and lead them to eternal life. May the tenderness of the little Jesus always accompany you. The Most Holy Name of Jesus   January 3, 2025 The Most Holy Name of Jesus Dear Family of Mary! Today’s Mass is in honor of The Most Holy Name of Jesus! What can we say about the name of Jesus? It is everything for us!! Our healing, our hope, our comfort, our courage, our strength, our light, our refuge, our deliverance, our stability, our prayer, our future, our only salvation! It is the gift of God the Father, to know the Name of His Most Beloved Son, and be able to call upon that Name in every need! Jesus! Jesus! Jesus!!!! St. Paul wrote in his letter to the Philippians – chapter 2:5-11: “Have this mind among yourselves, which was in Christ Jesus, who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. And being found in human form he humbled himself and became obedient unto death, even death on a cross. Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” This Name! Jesus! May we cherish it and honor it all the days of our lives!! Here is a litany in honor of the Holy Name of Jesus: Litany of the Holy Name of Jesus Lord, have mercy on us. R. Christ, have mercy on us. V. Lord, have mercy on us. Jesus, hear us. R. Jesus, graciously hear us. V. God the Father of Heaven R. Have mercy on us. V. God the Son, Redeemer of the world, R. Have mercy on us. V. God the Holy Spirit, R. Have mercy on us. V. Holy Trinity, one God, R. Have mercy on us. V. Jesus, Son of the living God, R. Have mercy on us. Jesus, splendor of the Father, [etc.] Jesus, brightness of eternal light. Jesus, King of glory. Jesus, sun of justice. Jesus, Son of the Virgin Mary. Jesus, most amiable. Jesus, most admirable. Jesus, the mighty God. Jesus, Father of the world to come. Jesus, angel of great counsel. Jesus, most powerful. Jesus, most patient. Jesus, most obedient. Jesus, meek and humble of heart. Jesus, lover of chastity. Jesus, lover of us. Jesus, God of peace. Jesus, author of life. Jesus, example of virtues. Jesus, zealous lover of souls. Jesus, our God. Jesus, our refuge.
