September 10, 2024 Reflection – I desire to see your faces transformed in prayer!

I desire to see your faces transformed in prayer.   September 10, 2024 Dear Family of Mary! In the Gospel for today, the first line tells us something about Jesus: “Jesus departed to the mountain to pray, and He spent the night in prayer to God…” (Lk 6:12) Jesus spent hours and hours in prayer it seems. Prayer was as important for Him as breathing! It was His time with the Father in prayer that gave Jesus the strength to preach, teach and heal the thousands of people He encountered in His public ministry. To Jesus, prayer was life. And I believe it was the same for Mother Mary! She calls us to prayer, over and over again. And she never tires of it!! The recent novena on Apparition Hill before the 43td Anniversary, with Marija and Ivan, is one example of Our Lady’s desire to move us to pray. She called for prayer from 10:00 pm to 11:30 pm each night, and she appeared at 11:30! But the prayer began to overflow those limits and the people prayed and prayed and prayed!! The energy was tangible!! Prayer is of the essence. Here is a message from Our Lady that carries that same energy and drive to pray: February 25, 2020 “Dear children! In this time of grace, I desire to see your faces transformed in prayer. You are so flooded by earthly concerns, you do not even feel that spring is at the threshold. You are called, little children, to penance and prayer. As nature fights in silence for new life, also you are called to open yourselves in prayer to God, in Whom you will find peace and the warmth of the spring sun in your hearts. Thank you for having responded to my call.” May our faces be transformed in prayer!! May we open ourselves in prayer to God , in Whom we will find peace and the warmth of the spring sun in our hearts!!! In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Cathy Nolan Mary TV

September 9, 2024 Reflection – I invite you to unite for peace through prayer

I invite you to unite for peace through prayer   September 9, 2024 Dear Family of Mary! I want to share with your the remarks given by Ivan Dragicevic, on Saturday, September 7, 2024 at the end of the prayer gathering in his chapel in Medjugorje, during which Our Lady appeared to him! He shares about his encounter with Our Lady, and the message she gave to us. Many of you were able to be present for that prayer time through the live-stream on Mary TV! Here are Ivan’s remarks: September 7, 2024 prayer with Ivan Dear priests, dear friends in Christ, all dear ones who are united with us through the internet.  I wish to share with you the most important from today’s encounter with Our Lady. For all of you who are with us for the first time, I would like to make a little introduction. I know it is very difficult to describe everything using our words but I’ll do my best. Our Lady was very joyful and very happy this evening when she appeared. She greeted us all with the words “Praised be Jesus, my dear children!” Then she looked over all of us, prayed over all of us and prayed especially over all the priests present here and all the sick. And then Our Lady gave us her message when she says: “Dear children, I invite you today and encourage you to pray for peace. Especially today I invite you to unite for peace through prayer and become witnesses in this peaceless world. Encourage each other to love and pray. May your faith be encouragement to others so that they may believe and love. I invite you all to be closer to my Son and to be closer to the Heart of my Son. Thank you again today, dear children, for responding to my call.” And then Our Lady gave us her motherly blessing and she blessed all the religious articles that we brought for blessing. I recommended all of you, your needs, your intentions and your families. I especially recommended all of you who are sick, and all of you as well who sent emails or written petitions to us to recommend them to Our Lady. Our Lady kept praying for peace in the world and she left in prayer in the sign of the light and the cross with the words, “Go in peace my dear children!” This would be the most important from this evening’s apparition. As you can see by the words given by Our Lady this evening, the greatest desire for all of us is to pray for peace. To be united through prayer, so that we may become the sign, the sign at this peaceless time. Well, we’re going to conclude our meeting with prayer and the blessing of the religious articles, and we would like also to thank all of you who were praying this evening with us and we would like to invite you to join us next Saturday  (September 14, 2024) at the same time, 4:30pm Medjugorje time. (The prayer ended with Ivan inviting a priest to come forward and bless everyone and all religious items that brought for blessing.) Thank you, Ivan, for sharing this precious prayer time in your chapel with all of us!!! N.B. …the email address to send to Ivan personal petitions that he will present to Our Lady: [email protected] Thank you, Ivan, for sharing this precious prayer time in your chapel with all of us!!! Mary TV will live-stream the September 14 2024 prayer and apparition at Ivan’s Chapel, starting at 4:30 PM Medjugorje time (10:40 AM Eastern time, US). You can join the stream on our main channel on Mary TV’s Home Page – www.marytv.tv ! Thanks be to God for sending Our Lady to us in these days, to give us hope, peace, prayer and courage! September 6, 2024 Reflection – I am praying that every heart becomes a stable of Bethlehem

I am praying that every heart becomes a stable of Bethlehem   September 6, 2024 Dear Family of Mary! Today we have one more message in which Our Lady tells us “I am your Mother!” This message was given to Jakov Colo, who receives yearly apparitions on Christmas Day! He was so young when Our Lady first came, but he has remained firm in his desire to answer Our Lady’s call! And to this day he witnesses to her presence and does great works of mercy for the poor in and around Medjugorje. Our Lady said to him; December 25, 2022 (Jakov) “Today, when the light of Jesus’ birth is illuminating the entire world, in a special way, with Jesus in my arms, I am praying that every heart becomes a stable of Bethlehem, in which my Son will be born, so that your lives become a light of His birth. Little children, you live in peacelessness and fear. That is why, little children, today, on this day of grace, implore Jesus to strengthen your faith and to become the ruler of your lives; because, my children, only with Jesus in your lives will you not be looking at peacelessness but praying for peace and will live in peace; and you will not be looking at fear, but at Jesus Who frees us of all fears. I am your Mother who ceaselessly keeps vigil over you and I am blessing you with my Motherly blessing.” This message shows Our Lady’s very strong resolve to “mother” us into heaven. She will not give up! She ceaselessly keeps vigil over us!! Never fear. She will not let go of us, but will guide us to Jesus, who will lead us home to Heaven. Let’s pray with this message this weekend. It will strengthen us! Remember, Our Lady is praying that our hearts become a stable of Bethlehem, in which her Son will be born!! Stables are pretty smelly places, so don’t worry about being worthy for Jesus to be born in you. Just open the doors and let Mary and Jesus in!! In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Cathy Nolan Mary TV PS. Remember that on Saturday, September 7, Mary TV will stream Ivan’s Rosary and Apparition from his chapel in Medjugorje starting at about 4:40 pm Medjugorje time – on the Channel!! Join us!

September 05, 2024 – I wish that your hearts be similar to my Heart…

I wish that your hearts be similar to my Heart…   September 5, 2024 Dear Family of Mary! As our Mother, Our Lady wants to share her heart with us! Her heart is overflowing with all that is good! Her heart contains all the treasures of God, and She wants to share them with us. Here are just some of the wonderful things Our Lady holds in her heart: Faith, Hope, and Love…plus joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, generosity, gentleness, faithfulness, modesty, self-control, chastity! These virtues overflow in Our Lady’s Heart!! It is Heaven, just to be near her!! But She holds nothing for herself and pours these beautiful gifts out upon us freely! She wants our hearts to be similar to her heart! Here is a beautiful message in which Mother Mary shows us this generous love: November 25, 1994 “Dear children! Today I call you to prayer. I am with you and I love you all. I am your Mother and I wish that your hearts be similar to my heart. Little children, without prayer you cannot live and say that you are mine. Prayer is joy. Prayer is what the human heart desires. Therefore, get closer, little children, to my Immaculate Heart and you will discover God. Thank you for having responded to my call.” Mother Mary wants us to be filled with goodness and love, faith and hope, and JOY!! May we walk through our days with her in our hearts, and we will discover God! In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Cathy Nolan Mary TV

September 4, 2024 Reflection – You are called, little children, to be my children…

You are called, little children, to be my children…   September 4, 2024 Dear Family of Mary! Today we have another message from Our Lady in which she tells us that she is our mother!! I can’t get enough of hearing her say that to us! It just makes me so peaceful and full of hope!! Let her words below fill you with her love. She is truly our Mother!! June 25, 2013 “Dear children! With joy in the heart I love you all and call you to draw closer to my Immaculate Heart so I can draw you still closer to my Son Jesus, and that He can give you His peace and love, which are nourishment for each one of you. Open yourselves, little children, to prayer – open yourselves to my love. I am your mother and cannot leave you alone in wandering and sin. You are called, little children, to be my children, my beloved children, so I can present you all to my Son. Thank you for having responded to my call.” Thank you, dearest Mother, for calling us to come closer to your Immaculate Heart. The closer we come to you, the more we experience your pure love! Your love then draws us to your Son, Jesus, who is a fire of burning love for each one of us! We say yes to your love and to Jesus’ love! Yes, yes, a thousand times, yes!!! In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! September 03, 2024 Reflection – “I am your mother…”

I am your Mother…   September 3, 2024 Dear Family of Mary! Our Lady tells us that she is our mother! I am sure that most of us do not really understand the wonder of this declaration! Mary, the Mother of Jesus, is our mother too? How can this be? What does it mean? To me, it is the most incredible mercy of God, to send Mary to us as our Mother. Unbelievable. And soooo needed!! We are like motherless children in this very turbulent world. It can seem overwhelming to live in these days. But it is not overwhelming with such a mother as Mary! Here is a message from 2014 in which Our Lady shows how much she understands our troubles and trials in this day, and assures us that she is our mother!!! December 2, 2014 “Dear children, Remember – for I am telling you – that love will win. I know that many of you are losing hope because around you, you see suffering, pain, jealousy, envy… but, I am your mother. I am in the Kingdom but am also here with you. My Son is sending me anew to help you. Therefore, do not lose hope; instead, follow me – because the victory of my heart is in the name of God. My beloved Son is thinking of you as he has always thought of you. Believe him and live him. He is the life of the world. My children, to live my Son means to live the Gospel. This is not easy. This means love, forgiveness and sacrifice. This purifies and it opens the Kingdom. Sincere prayer, which is not only words but is a prayer which the heart speaks, will help you. Likewise fasting (will help you), because it is still more of love, forgiveness and sacrifice. Therefore, do not lose hope but follow me. I am imploring you anew to pray for your shepherds so that they may always look to my Son who was the first Shepherd of the world and whose family was the entire world.” Yes, Mother we do believe that you are our Mother! We love you, as your children, and will follow you in these days with trust and courage! Thank you, dearest Mother, for being with us in our time!!! In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Cathy Nolan Mary TV

September 2, 2024 Reflection – I am blessing you with my motherly blessing

I am blessing you with my motherly blessing   September 2, 2024 Dear Family of Mary! “Dear children! Today, my prayer with you is for peace. Good and evil are fighting and want to prevail in the world and in the hearts of people. You be people of hope and prayer and of great trust in God the Creator to Whom everything is possible. Little children, may peace prevail in you and around you. I am blessing you with my motherly blessing that you, little children, may be joy for all those whom you meet. Thank you for having responded to my call.” Finally Our Lady says to us: “I am blessing you with my motherly blessing that you, little children, may be joy for all those whom you meet.” Our Lady has blessed us with her motherly blessing throughout her time with us in Medjugorje. She mentions her Motherly Blessing at least 76 times in her messages. Whenever I have been present for an apparition, Ivan or Maria mention that she blessed us with her Motherly Blessing. She offers her Motherly Blessing to us to help us to respond to her messages, and to live holy lives in answer to her call! The Church teaches that fathers and mothers have the right and duty to bless their children. In an article on Aleteia, it was stated: One important part of “evangelizing” our children is quite simple and very ancient. It is called the “Parental Blessing” and consists of an ability to call down God’s blessings upon your children. Examples of this type of blessing run throughout the Old Testament. One of the most well known examples is that of Isaac blessing his son Jacob (cf. Genesis 27). There are many other examples in the Old Testament and for this reason many people use these blessings with their own children. One blessing that is frequently used is from the book of Numbers and is referred to as the Aaronic Blessing: “The Lord bless you and keep you. The Lord let his face shine upon you, and be gracious to you. The Lord look upon you kindly and give you peace” (Numbers 6:24-26). Another blessing comes from the book of Tobit, where Tobit gives his son Tobias a blessing before he departs on a journey: “May God in heaven protect you on the way and bring you back to me safe and sound; may his angel accompany you” (Tobit 5:17). A simple way to do this would be to take a bit of holy water (if available) and trace the sign of the cross on the forehand of your child (or simply place your hand on their head). While doing this you can pray any of the above prayers, or just say, “May God bless you in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit.” ( https://aleteia.org/2017/08/23/this-is-how-to-bless-your-children ) I think these simple prayers would be very powerful, when prayed by a parent over a child every day! May we learn from Our Lady, and bless our children daily!! Our Lady is truly our Heavenly Mother! How much more powerful and needed is her Motherly Blessing!! Her blessing gives us the same kind of peace and encouragement that our parent’s blessings do, but magnified by her Queenly station! With Our Lady’s blessing, we can indeed walk through our day with confidence, and deep joy!! We are the children of the Queen, and she is with us. Our smiles will transmit great joy!! In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Cathy Nolan Mary TV

August 30, 2024 Reflection – May peace prevail in you and around you!

May peace prevail in you and around you!   August 30, 2024 Dear Family of Mary! August 30, 2024 “Dear children! Thank you for having responded to my call.” Earlier in this message Our Lady tells us that “Good and evil are fighting…” There is a war going on in our societies. But that war may not have an answer. If it is on the human level, there will be an endless battle from generation to generation. Our free wills and our limited intelligence make it a crazy mess!! But Our Lady offers us something far better: “Little children, may peace prevail in you and around you.” May peace prevail in us and around us! Peace! May Peace win in us and around us. This is her desire for us. Why? I think we need to sharpen our understanding of what peace really is. So let me share something I read yesterday about peace. I am sharing a wonderful article on peace written by Dr. Donald DeMarco, on the Catholic Exchange – August 28, 2024 – Titled: The True Meaning of Peace. Dr. DeMarco: Some time ago, when the peace movement on campus was in high gear, I decided to undertake a survey among my students to find out whether the ideal that had so enraptured them was something they truly understood. My classroom question to them was a model of brevity: “What is peace?” A flurry of hands shot up. My students were confident that they were well informed on the subject. Unfortunately, all their answers, though accompanied by confident enthusiasm, were phrased in the negative: “Peace is the absence of war;” “Peace is the avoidance of hostility;” “Peace is freedom from turmoil,” “Peace is the termination of anxiety,” and so on. While I commended them for their various peace offerings, I suggested that by omitting the positive character of peace, this noble value could be interpreted in contradictory ways. Some people think that peace is nirvana, but this word can mean death, or at least a state of feelinglessness. Is peace a form of anaesthesia? Is peace merely the cessation of pain? If so, why do we long for it? We should want peace to convey something positive, something that improves our lives. We should be concerned about what peace is, rather than what peace is not. I was hoping that someone would supply peace with a content of its own. The British philosopher Alfred North Whitehead described peace as “a trust in the efficacy of beauty.” Spinoza said that “Peace is not the absence of war: it is a virtue born out of the strength of the heart”. As much respect as I have for these two outstanding thinkers, I regard their contributions to be a bit vague and flowery. St. Augustine to the Rescue At last, to make my question more practical, I asked my now silent students what they might do in order to experience the blessings of peace, even for ten minutes. An ominous quiet filled the classroom. Finally, one brave student confessed, rather disconsolately, that given all the assignments she was burdened with and all the deadlines she had to meet, finding peace was out of the question for at least several weeks. I think she spoke for many, if not all, of her classmates. I thought it was sad that a student could not combine peace with her schoolwork. Is formal education a hiatus from peace? Is there peace after graduation? Can we ever find time for peace? Even in sleep, we may be disturbed by recurrent nightmares. If we must wait until we do nothing to find peace, then there is nothing to give peace its ground, nothing that it touches to give our life a higher meaning. Such a peace would sink into a void. This is not the peace we hope for, but the illusion of peace. There were no incipient St. Augustines in my class. But I could recruit this wise Doctor of the Church for the benefits of my students. For the Bishop of Hippo, peace is the “tranquility of order” (tranquillitas ordinis). Augustine is referring to the personal experience of peace. Human beings have lived disorderly lives ever since they were wounded by Original Sin. Their souls became “restless”. This restlessness (inquietum) created a longing for peace. But peace would always remain elusive as long as it is regarded as a direct object of choice. We cannot choose peace the way we can pluck an apple from an apple tree. We must choose something else before we are eligible to experience peace. That something else, Augustine tells us, is order. But there are many different kinds of order. What is the specific order that this great saint has in mind? It is an order of virtuous acts that lead to God. Augustine’s most celebrated phrase appears in the beginning of his Confessions: “Our hearts are restless and will not rest until they find rest in You,” (cor nostrum inquietum est donc requiescat in Te). Peace replaces restlessness when our lives are directed to God. We should live in accordance with virtue, which Augustine defines as “the order of love” (virtus est ordo amoris). We now see two things clearly: Why we are restless and desirous of peace; and the solution to our restlessness. If we want peace, we must first direct our love to God. Then we will experience the tranquility of order that is peace. What is peace, then? It is the tranquility we experience once we direct our love, through virtue, to God. This love, naturally, includes love of neighbor. Therefore, peace is compatible with all of our life activities, including the “burden” of class assignments. We should not be searching for peace, but loving God. Peace is something that “happens” to us when we have found something else. It is very much like happiness which, as Nathaniel Hawthorne has stated, “is like a butterfly which, when pursued, is always beyond our grasp, but, if you will sit down quietly, may alight upon you.” The Beatles’ famous advice, “Just give peace a chance,” is grossly misleading. As long as peace is regarded as the direct object of our choice, it will remain elusive. Moreover, peace does not “do anything”. The “doing” falls to us who must order our lives to God. Peace is a blessing, but not an activity. It makes no sense to “give peace a chance”. The primary benefactor of teaching, if properly executed, is usually the teacher himself. My restless students, despite their wayward answers, were a great help to me in better understanding the nature of peace. I wish them all abiding peace. I would be remiss, however, if I failed to express my gratitude to the greatest Christian philosopher of antiquity. Dr. Donald DeMarco, on the Catholic Exchange – August 28, 2024 – Titled: The True Meaning of Peace. I love this! “What is peace, then? It is the tranquility we experience once we direct our love, through virtue, to God. This love, naturally, includes love of neighbor. Therefore, peace is compatible with all of our life activities, including the “burden” of class assignments. We should not be searching for peace, but loving God. Peace is something that “happens” to us when we have found something else.” Our Lady has taught us over and over again, to love God first and all else will follow. In this message didn’t she say, “You be people of hope and prayer and of great trust in God the Creator to Whom everything is possible.” If we do our part, peace will flow out upon us in abundance. And we will be “joy for all those whom we meet!” In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Cathy Nolan Mary TV

August 29, 2024 Reflection – You be people of hope and prayer…

You be people of hope and prayer…   August 29, 2024 Dear Family of Mary! Here, again, is the August 25, 2024 Message from Our Lady, Queen of Peace! Thank you for having responded to my call.” We do have to fight. Nobody wants to fight. But we are called to enter the fray. And here is how: “You be people of hope and prayer and of great trust in God the Creator to Whom everything is possible.” This is our battle plan! We must be people of hope! We must never take our eyes off of Heaven which awaits us. We must never doubt God’s promises to us. We have His Son, Jesus, as our Savior, our Promise Keeper! He will not leave us orphaned. We must be people of prayer! Remember this message? August 8, 1985 “Dear children! Today I call you especially now to advance against satan by means of prayer. Satan wants to work still more now that you know he is at work. Dear children, put on the armor for battle and with the Rosary in your hand defeat him! Thank you for having responded to my call.” We must fight against our only enemy, Satan. He is the one leading all the others astray. So Our Lady calls us to advance against Satan by means of prayer!! “Put on the armor for battle and with the Rosary in your hand defeat him!!!” This is what we have been doing in Medjugorje for 43 years!!! What do we do before the Evening Mass? The Rosary!! What do we do after Mass? The Rosary!! What do we do as we climb the hills? The Rosary!!!! Day and night we pray the Rosary!! This is victory!!! And we must be people of great trust in God the Creator to whom everything is possible! Remember this message: March 25, 2021 “Dear children! Also, today I am with you to tell you: Little children, who prays does not fear the future and does not lose hope. You are chosen to carry joy and peace, because you are mine. I have come here with the name ‘Queen of Peace’… because the devil wants peacelessness and war, he wants to fill your heart with fear of the future – but the future is God’s. That is why, be humble and pray, and surrender everything into the hands of the Most High Who created you. Thank you for having responded to my call.” The Future is God’s!!! This is our hope and our courage!! With this hope, we can do everything!! Remember: “You be people of hope and prayer and of great trust in God the Creator to Whom everything is possible.” In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Cathy Nolan Mary TV

August 28, 2024 Reflection – Good and Evil are Fighting…

Good and evil are fighting…   August 28, 2024 St. Augustine Dear Family of Mary! Here, again, is the August 25, 2024 Message from Our Lady, Queen of Peace! Thank you for having responded to my call.” “Good and evil are fighting and want to prevail in the world and in the hearts of people.” We know that we are in a spiritual battle. As we hear in Revelations 12, St. Michael cast the dragon (Satan) down to earth where he went to make war against the Woman (Mary) who gave birth to the male child (Jesus). But the woman was hidden from him, so he went to make war on her other offspring, “…on those who keep the commandments of God and bear testimony to Jesus.” (Rev. 12:17) We are those offspring! And we have to battle on!! This is a battle over hearts! Because it is the heart that leads us one way or the other! This battle is raging around us in our day. The evil one leads many to fight against those who desire the good. In the United States we are witnessing that battle in a very explicit way in our political arena. But the battle is on every front. And so we must fight on for the good! But isn’t it amazing! God has sent to us that very Woman who was hidden from the enemy. The Father has sent us Our Mother, Mary, the Queen of Peace, to be with us in our battle today! We are not alone. We are in the very best of hands!! Our Lady is our Commander General! She is with us to lead us. She will not let our hearts go astray! Let’s give thanks today for Mother Mary’s presence with us, and let’s listen to her messages. She will be victorious!! In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Cathy Nolan Mary TV
