Dear Family of Mary!
“…My children, my Son, by His love and sacrifice, brought the light of faith into the world and showed you the way of faith. Because, my children, faith elevates pain and suffering. True faith makes prayer more sensitive, and does acts of mercy-a conversation, a gift of alms. Those of my children who have faith-true faith-are happy despite everything because they live the beginning of heavenly happiness on earth. Therefore, my children, apostles of my love, I am calling you to give an example of true faith, to bring light where there is darkness, to live my Son. “ (July 2, 2019)
Our Lady used the word “faith” seven times in this section of the July 2, 2019 message. Clearly, she wants us to understand that our faith, true faith, in God our Creator is fundamental in these days. It is faith that the world lacks. The darkness has grown over the past few years and the light of faith has been dulled. It is up to us to rekindle that light.
I found this wonderful litany of Trust written by one of the Sisters of Life in New York. This prayer asks for deliverance from the obstacles we have to true faith. Isn’t it true! We do have many obstacles to true faith which is true trust in God. The devil has been working very hard to destroy faith these days. He erects obstacles and bondages in our lives so that our faith will die. We need deliverance to regain a living and true faith. May this prayer begin the healing process in our lives so that our faith and trust in God will be rekindled and strengthened for the days ahead. Our Lady needs us to be people of strong faith!
